I purchased these because I’m trying to slowly make small lifestyle changes to “go green.” With the amount of straws that end up in the ocean, I wanted to do my part to try and reduce that. Not only do you receive 10 straws, which is PLENTY if you’re keeping them clean, they’re durable, easy to use, BPA free, come in cute colors (or not for the men who don’t prefer pastels), come with a little bag for storage so you can keep them in your purse, also include a brush which makes it easy to clean them entirely, and the best part? I soaked these in hot water and soap overnight, as they do have a silicone-like weird smell initially, and to get them clean. Since they are flexible, they’re easy to bend and get the brush inside of to clean out any residue. I recommend keeping five clean at all times, and then keeping five in your bag so you can just swap them out as needed, and always have one for a friend or partner to show them the benefits of saving the oceans. Overall, I’m in love with these, and if I can do something so simple just to do my tiny part, I’m happy. If only everyone else would.

I've waited a while to review wanting to make sure I tried the product throughly. I normally do not post reviews of products I purchase, but everyone needs these. I am a straw person. I use a straw in all my drinks. I have used a number of different reusable straws previously. The thought of these being silicone was appealing, admittedly I do chew on my straws. Cleaning has always been an issue for me. This set comes with a brush. I chose the smoothie size...well...who can refuse a good smoothie. The size works for all drinks so I figured it was a great "try" size. I love these so much! I do find myself beginning to bite down on the soft silicone. The straw just pops back into place. I worried that with my hot liquids that they would feel "mushy," but that's isn't the case. The tough silicone is perfect and it fits snuggly in my Rtic tumbler. Cleaning was so much easier than I ever could have imagined, truly having the appropriate tool to clean is the key. And you get a bag to store them in. Now when I eat out and use a "regular" straw I think about my silicone ones at home. I am seriously considering purchasing the regular size and carrying with me. I see another purchase in my near future. Where have these been my whole life?!?

These are pretty good, I bought them because my toddler bites the stainless steel straws! So these were the best option, soft but hard enough and easy to clean. The only thing I don’t like is that it keeps the smell of milk, but probably because that’s the only thing my daughter drinks with the straw, and it’s ok because there’re plenty of them.

I got the bent 8mm straw set. They're great go-to, everyday straws, but I would say the 8mm is too narrow for smoothies. I didn't choose these for that, though, so I'm happy with them at an affordable price. I really like the choice of colors, too. I'm working on getting different straws, mainly for guests, and these are the first silicone ones I've ordered. They're good straws and I recommend them!

Just got this guys yesterday and so far I really like them. They aren’t as tall as I thought (totally my fault) but are standard straw length and diameter. These feel really sturdy and well made yet still flexible if need be. No weird smell or tasty. I did boil them and wash them out with soap prior to using. Colors are beautiful and consistent throughout each straw. I did notice that the pinch test showed a little bit of white on the corners but I also know the pinch test isn’t the most reliable test. Overall I really like these and feel like they’ll last a long time. Will update if anything changes. Also super cool they donate the proceeds of your order to Oceana if you leave a comment.

It took me a minute to get used to drinking from a silicone straw, to be honest. But I absolutely love these straws and I use them daily for my iced green teas. Pros: They are super easy to clean. They came with a cleaning brush too, in case you don’t have one. They seem to be dishwasher safe! I told my husband not to put them in the washer, but as I was unloading the other day I noticed he had put one in. It was totally fine. They are silicone, after all, and I’m not sure if the manufacturer has advised against dishwashing or not. Still, I prefer to clean mine by hand. They come with a cute storage bag! Cons: I really can’t think of too many cons. It still feels awkward to me to drink from a silicone straw, but that’s just me and my neuroses I guess. If you like to swirl your ice around or, I don’t know, push things around with your straws, these aren’t good for that. They bend (of course), so they aren’t strong enough really to move ice around. But then, that flexibility can also be seen as a good thing to some. In the end, I really like my straws. They replaced all of the old plastic straws that came with my travel cups and thermoses that my husband lost or threw away lol. And I’m quite happy with them!

I love these straws! They’re sturdy but still flexible enough to be comfortable, and the different colors make them easy to tell apart. The little brush makes cleaning simple, and they even come with a bag so I can toss a few in my purse. I’ve been using them for iced matcha and smoothies and they hold up great. A really good switch from disposable straws.

Son mejores de lo que pensaba, porque son más consistentes. Son muy largas, lo que permite todas las longitudes de vaso (si tienes vasos cortos puedes cortar alguna pajita, y así tener de distintos tamaños) Y la escobilla para limpiarlas, es ya la guinda de la tarta. Un 10

Tolle Strohhalme! Die sind meine Favoriten, dass sie geknickt sind war ausschlaggebend für meinen Kauf. Sie haben keinerlei Eigengeschmack und gehen total einfach in der Spülmaschine sauber. Sind sicher auch für smoothies geeignet von der Dicke - bis dato aber noch nicht probiert. Besonders für Leute die gern mal auf dem Strohhalm rumkauen eine super Empfehlung :)
