Making It Third Edition: manufacturing Techniques for Product Design

It is worth reading everything that the brilliant Chris Lefteri writes. His books are crammed full of detailed photos and high level explanations of materials manufacturing techniques.

Great book with elaborate details on processes. Covers a variety of topics

I’m a product design student, and this book and many others by Chris are like a bible to me! They are so clear, easy to understand and goes into just the right level of detail.

This is a must have if you’re new to the design & manufacturing world. Gives you the basics of different processes plus some pros/cons. Wish I had gotten this 10 years ago when I was starting out.

Full of interesting information, however, the good was damaged during delivery (rear cover and some pages dogeared)

I was hoping to get a little more information on manufacturing processes in my career but this book is more designed for younger people and doesn’t go into as much depth as I hoped. It’s a good book for a young college student but not for a professional at my experience.
