Will these fit a 12 year old boy?

These are made for smaller children which is why we say it depends if your 12 yr old is a big 12 yr old or small. Will these fit a 2 year old toddler?

I bought them for my son who was 8, and they were much too small. My guess is they are better suited for a smaller child, but I could not say for sure if they will work for you.
