Edexcel AS Physics Student Book (Edexcel A Level Sciences)

I am an A level physics teacher and this is the book that I ask my students to buy. Firstly I am very happy that the book has no answers because if I want to set questions from it I know that my students have to work for the answers. They can't cheat. Secondly the book matches the exam sequence so there is a 6PH01 and 6PH02 section in the AS text book. Thirdly my students are encouraged to look at a wide range of different books (the school library has a section which I am building up), magazines and the internet. Even with the best text book in the world a student is not going to do well if they just rely on it

Bought for my son. There isn't much I can say about it really as it does what it says on the tin as it were. One word of advice though. Be careful which book you go for as it depends on the curriculum. This is the one that is being used since the changes.

I used this book for AS Physics core 1 & 2, I got my grades as a combination of this and hard work.
