well built but expensive light
I know that with hand held torches, you pay for reliability and this certainly has the brand to back that. It does cast a very bright beam, but it not focused, so it is not useful to illuminate items further than 25 meters. It is also not instant on at high, it requires 2 clicks to get there. The lowest power setting seems infinite.

Bright, small, impressive
I tried it with an18650 IMR 18350 IMR and it’s very bright in turbo mode. Also one of the nicest tints I’ve ever seen on the Nichia 219c.The copper is matte. See the pic next to my Copper Tool AAA which is shiny. The Lanyard is really small; doesn’t fit over my hand. You have the option to set your own ultra low moonlight mode.It gets hot on turbo but it’s not hard to turn off. You have to hold the button, which is on the hottest part, the copper head, down a second to turn it off. You can just click it twice and go from Turbo to moonlight mode and it’ll cool down. The electronic button in the head works well. I did not like that a single click from turbo mode puts you into strobe but it was probably for safety reasons. It has mode memory, or you can always start off in moonlight, or go straight to turbo from off. Great options!I did not attempt to charge it using the built in charging port under the head but it’s an option.
