NeuroScience GABA Trex, Chewable Calm Aid Tablets, Grape Flavored, 60 Count

Have taken these for 6 years at the recommendation of my doc. They are quite sweet but I get over it because they work! They calm my nerves before dentist appointments, public speaking, etc!

My coworker told me about Gaba tree a few months back when she and I were talking about how I would constantly wake-up and be unable to fall back asleep due to racing thoughts, anxiety or my mind just wouldn't turn off it would feel like tv static. I have noticed a improvement in my sleep quality and my ability to fall back asleep after taking them, I didn't notice any side effects when I took it, it is a bit chalky tasting and not the best flavor wise but other than that it is amazing.

I keep these in my bag for when things get overwhelming (work stress, travel, social anxiety). The chewable tablets work quickly and help me feel calmer. They taste good too, which makes it easy to take as needed.

Ok, just chew it if it doesn't melt quick enough for you - the trick is assuring that it is absorbed primarily from your mouth, not your stomach. It seems to me that GABA and melatonin seem to be more effective sublingually (absorbed from mouth) vs. pills that break down in your stomach/intestines. This is by no means definitive or a rule, but it's been my experience to some extent. I primarily give this to my daughter before long car drives, as her tendency to carsickness is mostly anxiety related - reduce the anxiety & you reduce her feeling pukey. There is a relationship between Gaba and antihistamines and nausea, as most of the meds for nausea are in the antihistamine family (for example, bendadryl is often used for kids for nausea....), and often benadryl is also used in psychiatry to augment anxiety meds. GABA impacts more than just mood/anxiety. Anyways, for my girl these do indeed bring down her anxiety, as well as feeling nauseous.

Took this with me on a trip and it was a lifesaver. Travel usually throws everything off for me, but I felt surprisingly balanced the whole time. The single serve packaging makes it very simple

This product was recommended by my physician. Amazon had it at a relatively reasonable price, so I picked up a bottle. I have not found this product to be effective, and it definitely does not dissolve. After holding the first tablet in my mouth for over 20 minutes while continually bathing it in swishing saliva, it did not perceivably change. Finally chewed it up. Through with the bottle, and will not purchase another.
