Great help for diagnosing disorders and I definitely recommend this.
The human body is so very differential in and of itself. This text definitely helps to look at the full scope of other comorbidities that can be seen with or mistaken for the primary. This book does a great job of naming the hallmarks of other disorders to make diagnosing a little less complicated.

The DSM-5TM is great; it is helpful in giving the symptommalogy in detail, so that I can connect to the diagnosis which most fits the patient's condition. Thank you for this reference book. It's very good, and I will be using it for a long time.

as a therapist this book speeds up the process of diagnosis mostly by helping me see what does not meet the client's symptoms. I recommend it for anyone struggling with the the size of the DSM 5.

Need For Medical Tests
This book is good because it reaffirms that instead of just prescribing dangerous drugs, psychiatrists should run standard medical tests. Many of the symptoms of which patients complain are caused by endocrine, allergy or other physical ailments that are not treated with psychiatric drugs but just worsen.

Clear and practical decision trees
Easy to use and well supported if you are only looking for causes, this is a good place to start, but you also get a diagnostic framework and diagnostic tables. It is perfect for reporting helping to articulate a clear pathway to diagnosis.

Didn't fit description. Should not have been sold.
Pp 308 and 309 had black greasy finger/thumb prints on them. There were many pages in the middle of the book where the printing had failed and was so light that most of it was illegible. Poor condition - definitely not new, though the exterior of the book looked okay in the photo and was okay in reality. Not worth $70 so I returned it.
