Better than described. Weighted handles are great....really felt it the first few times.

The product works great if you tend to its needs properly. The ball bearings need a little lube for smooth rotation. The rope needs to be cut to size. The rope needs to be hung properly with the weights hanging down to keep the rope taught while not in use. Otherwise, the rope will develop kinks and not work so well.

The rope broke after several uses. Past my 30 day return so I am SOL.

I was looking to get a better jump rope (with ball bearings) and liked how this one was designed. I had seen it in person at a store and held off on buying it until I saw the reviews. I took a chance on it and probably would have regretted my decision had I not owned the rope I had before this one.Jump rope handle: the piece that is screwed in and holds the bearing and jump rope in place will come lose if the bearing isn't oiled. When I got mine and tried skipping I could hear the noise from the friction in the handle. The handle isn't hollow, so you really do not want pieces of the jump rope sticking out of the bearing; I will affect the rotation and your skipping. Once oiled be sure to tighten the piece that screws into the handle. I've been skipping for 2 weeks now with no issues.The rope: Nike really should invest in using tangle-free ropes. My previous rope was tangle-free; I could store it wherever and however I wanted and just pick it up and not have kinks in it. Because the diameter of my rope and Nike's were the same I swapped the ropes. Nike's rope was really annoying; I kept tripping because of the kinks in the rope. The hot water trick only helped with one use. When I stored it and picked it back up, the kinks would be there. So I'm glad I had the tangle-free rope.I am happy with what I ended up with even though I had to make tweaks here and there. I hope this helps someone out there.

I got this to add to my workout routine. It's a jump rope, weighted in the handles. Feels heavier than the listed weight but maybe I'm just that out of shape!

The rope ripped in half after 3 months of light usage (2-3 times per week).

I'm not going to waste my time with a long review of this dumb thing, but here are the essentials. The cable is cheap and flimsy, and continually kinks and winds up on itself. The little metal balls insinde the handles, which are supposed to provide a smooth movement, in fact, do the opposite. They bind against the metal housing and cause the rope to not spin freely. This results in one or both of the handle tops continually unscrewing during use. I have to check it after every set, and reset them into place. A drop of oil on the bearing helps, but wouldn't be necessary if Nike did what literally every other company did, and used actual ball bearings in the handles.I got this on super sale for $7, so it's not the end of the world, but I would never pay the actual retail price for this. For $20, you can get a much nicer rope with ball bearings and removable handle weights.

it will literally last you 4-3 weeks if you use it 5-4 times a week. the design is horrible it’s run through a plastic ball which when after days of use the plastic ball/roller it will start to make a noise an annoying noise

An excellent skipping rope . this is one of the most outstanding ropes I have used. A must buy for all serious fitness enthusiast.

The rope is not at all durable, the ball bearings makes a lot of noise and the rope comes out of the ball bearings quite frequently. The rope will sustain deformation and marks on the end touching the ground while exercising. No value for money. Not a good product. Not recommmeded
