PedalPro BMX Bike/Skateboard/Scooter Helmet With Adjustable Strap - Choice of Colour

For the price, this is an excellent item that comes in a range of colours and sizes, as such it is highly customisable and affordable. However, I am not going to give this product a five-star rating as this item should not be bought as an alternative to more expensive helmets, which have better padding and thicker, more durable outer shells - the primary reason being that its purpose is to protect you in case of a fall or an accident. The outer shell is plastic and the foam within claims to be reshape-able, which it is not. There is very little padding inside the helmet - thin sheets of breathable material attached via Velcro. Personally, I have not experienced any issues with this helmet whatsoever and it is certified. That being said, I would recommend this helmet for people who are unlikely to hurt themselves but want some extra protection - otherwise look elsewhere, as it is an important piece of safety equipment that shouldn't be bought on the cheap.

I recieved my order promptly and in good order, However when i tried on the helmet it didnt fit me correctly due to my odd shape noggin.Do not dispair, one of the local schools has a bike club which encourages the children to ride to school whenever possible with a caviat that they must where a helmet. I now know the helmet is being used daily, is a perfect fit and is doing what it is designed for. Again great service and good produc,. Thanks.

I was worries as many of the review refer to children wearing and did think was only child sizes. I am a big bloke and got the largest size and it fits perfect. Can very quickly. The colour I thought would be more mustard but its a nice dark orange. I saw the pink one yesterday and that's a dark pink, also looks cool.

This reviewer admittedly is big headed in more ways than one: the measured physical size, however, is only 59.5cm. Because I liked the style and colour and don't like returning things unless necessary, I removed all the padding (fortunately velcro'd) and removed even the velcro. Even after a crewcut, It's still not a particularly good fit nor as comfortable as I'd like. Love the orange though.

Great price and service, can't fault the seller. The helmet isnt quite what we expected having seen other kids wearing this type of helmet. Daughter loves the colour, but the helmet inner is chunky, so when worn it sticks out like a bad basin haircut which spoils the overall style. The fit isn't fantastic either as due to the thick inner, the straps don't go near the ears or contact the side of your head meaning the only contact point is around the chin and if not tight, the helmet moves on your hair with basic jolt movements. If the outer plastic had been thicker and the inner foam half the thickness, it would have been a 5 - perhaps to get the safety mark it was cheaper to manufacture it like this. For the price its ok for now and we will use it.

Bought the largest size to fit my head, unfortunately the sizing was waaaay off. I need a max 60 cm helmet and this came no where near that despite ordering the largest size that is meant to go to 61cm. My other helmets are all 61cm and fit nicely. The plus side is the helmet came quickly, and has plenty of a protective inner, the helmet is now worn by my daughter.

I was hoping that it would wrap around the head more, but it sort of sits on top of your head and doesn't feel like it cradles your head securely. It's going to the charity shop. I cough up for a good one with an adjustment mechanism like they have on building site hard hats; they grip your head securely.

Fast delivery...arrived well packaged. We got the gloss finish in orange for my daughter. We did the head measurement, and ordered a Med. It fit perfectly. Daughter loves it.
