I throughly enjoyed this Fashion Reference book, but this comes with a few flaws. The illustrations are rather sparse and unentertaining. If you want to know anything about male fashion in the 60's please leave this book alone. But this is very good reference book for designers and vintage buyers who want to know about some general aspects of female 1960's clothes. The author orders the book by specific year, which is helpful to get further understanding of 1960's clothing.

Love this whole set of books. Each book covers a decade of fashion for both men and women. It includes formal wear, daily wear, leisure wear, and even UNDER-wear! A must to have for every costumer or anyone interested in period clothing!

pics for each year and that PICS were in COLOR! In fact the book is basically COLOR-FREE. Text is bland, but descriptive. This book is good for looking at the basic outfits (includes gowns & formal wear, coats, undergarments, etc.) for men and women as well as accessories (but not jewelry). This book is also good for a basic quick reference for clothing shape & outlines of the designs for each year of this decadent decade. -- Just want people to know what they're in for.

The book is as promised. It took quite a while to get it, but it was in good condition when I got it.

This book is with red print ink and it does not contain a lot of information. It is not a book for professionals . Can be usefull for student.

I suspect these are not indicative of mass pop fashion of the age.

Good picture guide to the 1960s fashion styles but very disappointed that inside they are only in monochrome colour. You have to look up the colour descriptions at the back of the book which is of very little use really.
