Package Quantity:6 Produced from naturally grown olive trees in Morocco's Atlas Mountains, Auzoud's olives and olive oil are sourced from a small farmers' cooperative that guarantees fair wages and sustainable harvesting practices. After watching his grandfather and other farming families struggle to bring their goods to market for a fair price, Auzoud owner Mejid Beraouz co-founded the cooperative to support better economic and social conditions for agricultural workers in his homeland. The cooperative seeks to unify and empower local farmers as they obtain fair prices for their olives and a more sustainable livelihood for themselves and their families. There are currently over a hundred cooperative members with many more farmers seeking to participate in the next harvest. One of the cooperative’s goals is to educate members about sustainable olive farming. To this end, Auzoud and cooperative members are working together to obtain organic certification for all current and new members.

A truly beautiful oil for salads, dipping and even cooking. The Moroccan olives are distinctly different from Italian counterparts. Supports women harvesters and workers in a notoriously male-dominated society, so BUY THIS BRAND!

Doesn't Taste like Olive Oil at all
Olive oil is a regular part of my diet since childhood, especially the Moroccan kind, and I was shocked that this olive oil has absolutely no olive oil taste I can discern. I ordered two bottles when I saw that this seller is sourcing it directly from farmers, and was excited and anticipating a unique taste of olive. It tasted more like safflower or sunflower oil, perhaps mixed with a bit of olive oil. I was disappointed and planned to return the bottles. I procrastinated and never got to return them - I wonder if I still can return the second bottle since it's still sealed.

Taste and flavor
This is one of the best olive oil I have come across. It’s silky with a gentle nutty taste not much irritating in the throat and mild peppery flavor.Please pay attention:In the nutrition facts label the amount of polyunsaturated fat and mono saturated should be reversed. This composition is what sets olive oil apart from other oils. Please correct the label.Khashi charepoo

What a wonderful vision and project and what a fab oil!As an olive oil consumer for taste as well as health reasons, I recently learned about yet more of its healthgiving properties. Since Morocco's olive trees were said to produce more of that substance I Amazoned and chose two kinds. While I also love the taste and aroma of the other and will continue using it, THIS one is as of now my staple.
