Like the title says. Essential skills
If you like survivorman this book is a must have.This book shows U the survival skills that Les Strout uses I the tv series survivorman.He uses only those skills that he has proven valuable and tells the reader why the theoretical skills as stated in other books aren't practical or useable.The book shows pictures accompanying the written skills. All the pictures are taken during survivorman.All in all a well written book and one U can take with You on Your next outing. It's a practical book and not a reference guide.

Go! Les
One of the best survival books I have read, up there with Bear Grylls, Born Survivor and any of Ray Mears' works. I would say , do read all three as they each have their own views and comments on any given situation. All their views are valid and useful. I have learned from them all.
