Great shampoo! This completely transforms my hair colour - every time I use it. I tend use this shampoo once a week or every other week if my hair is getting too light, but without fail, every time I use it I’ll get a comment on my hair and ask if I’ve had it done. It takes out any sign of yellow at all. The longer you leave it on the more effective it is, however be warned, too long and it does go super light and will start to take on a purple tinge. The shampoo itself is very purple so you do need to be careful and wash off any splashes immediately. I’ve had it stain a shower curtain so after that I’m always very careful to remove it off places that could stain, like tile grouting. It also stains your hands, and sometimes your nails, no matter how quickly you wash it off them. But normally by the time I’m finished showering if isn’t too noticeable, unless my hands are really dry then it seems to just sink it. But it’s worth it. I always use the matching conditioner afterwards, which leaves the hair super soft and silky. And the smell of the shampoo is lovely, you’ll suddenly notice it randomly throughout the day. All in all - great value - especially with the massive size - but actually does what it says it’ll do and leaves your hair looking healthy. You won’t bother with cheaper brands again after using this!

After trying out various alternative brands of purple shampoo (Aussie, Pantene etc) I finally gave in and went back to Fudge. There is just no comparison, this one smells like salon quality, tones any shade of yellow from the first use (I leave on for around 5 minutes, any longer and it actually tones to purple). Its without a doubt the best purple shampoo toner, so good that in-between uses I'll have to go back to using a normal shampoo so I don't dye my highlights purple. Fudge doesn't affect my scalp psoriasis at all, doesn't make it worse or better. The price is great for a 1000ml bottle, I have very long hair and a bottle this size will last around a year.

Great value for size, definitely the best purchase so far for my highlights. I have for years and years been trying to create the perfect blonde and finally this product does it. I use it once a week with the same brand conditioner. It will last forever 🙂 Smells beautiful Would recommend gloves as can stain hands slightly. Hair is left feeling healthy not dry like some purple shampoo can do.

I’ve been using the Fudge normal purple shampoo and conditioner for over a year. That is excellent. This version however is even better! It makes your hair really soft and is an amazing toner. It takes away all brassy tones. The first day I used it I was asked if I’d coloured my hair by three different people who then complimented me on the colour. I liked my highlights before..... now they’re even better! I absolutely love this shampoo! Two months on and in combination with the rewind conditioner and standard rewind shampoo my hair is finally growing as it’s in much better condition and I didn’t need to have much trimmed off at the hairdressers. Really pleased with how great it is. 👍 Edit: December 2019 and am still using it. Really is the best purple shampoo out there. Hair is also in fantastic condition and has grown to the length I wanted it to.

This is definitely the best purple shampoo I’ve used. Fudge products always leave my hair feeling healthy. My hair gets oily quite quickly (usually have to wash everyday), but Fudge allows me to go longer than that. I have platinum blonde hair so it’s very damaged from colouring it however Fudge keeps it very healthy and I don’t have any breakage! This shampoo is great for keeping brassiness away and tones/cools brilliantly. The only thing I would say is that if you’re looking for it to take brassiness out of your hair, only leave it on for 2 minutes max as it really does cling to your hair. Also use it maybe once a week (depending on how porous your hair is) as it can make you go silver or a bit lilac otherwise! However it’s also great if you want to be more silver in which case a few minutes does the trick! Highly recommend overall and great value for money.
