Fitted to a Land Rover Defender 110 TD5Some people have made their own and they look amazing, some people have made their own and they look as rough as a badgers arse.. But I didn't really have the time to have a go myself so decided to buy one. I really liked the Frontrunner with the slide out chopping board, but the price! I had a look around and found this for a third of the price. It came next day, it is really light weight, made of light alloy, powder coated, has nice stainless fittings and was easy to fit without having to cut into the door card. Very impressed! I would say that if you are going to fit it to a Defender, firstly ignore the fitting instructions as these are for a Jeep and have a couple more bolts ready as mine only came with 4 and you really need 6 (Button Head M10 x 35mm) and some large washers to spread the load where you drill into the door card.As long as you don't stack the shelf with bricks or use is as a workbench its fine for uses as a table or somewhere to put you camping stove.

I put this on the back door of my LR Series 2. It's fairly simple to fit and seems robust enough to sit my Trangia cookers on it which will be it's primary purpose.Unfortunately though the wire cords are too long so when unfolded it doesn't sit square. I tried tying a knot in them but that then made them too short. So to stop things sliding off I have inverted the tray so it now has an edge all the way around. This also has the advantage of improving the appearance when folded.Generally OK just a shame about the cords.

Very cheaply made & poor quality finish, the paint is chipping off, and some very sharp edges left on to slice your fingers!

Although purpose built for a Jeep Wrangler Tailgate door with four extra right-angle brackets, four additional M6 30mm bolts and two matching M6 nuts this product works equally as well on a Land Rover New Defender Tailgate Door.

Item itself is sturdy and looks well made. You haven’t sent me the correct fixings though.. and is not clear what goes where. You should write a simple installation guide. Can you re send fixings please.

Generic Chinese quality.Fits a Suzuki Jimny nice and snugg.Needs special tools : Rivet nut tool and precise drill-bit. Possible to manage with dyi method.Drill template is wrong, horizontal space is incorrect with about 5 mm which messes up things bad. Just make your own. Thank you to other reviewers who warned me.Several pre-assembled nuts are the wrong way. Recommend you mount it on a wall first and experiment.Picture on a 2005 Suzuki Jimny. Tray mounted with edges up, when closing the wires get hidden. I think this is the way it is supposed to be. Front bar with handle is added from other project. A strip of wood would fit nicely as well, four holes. The slots on the sidebars might be useful for some other configuration.More work and uncertainty than expected. Error in pre-assembly and the template are just stupid waste of energy. Factoring in all this, I find the kit to great value and would buy it again.

Es genial . Instalada en el portón de los dos de un Isuzu .Eso si, me lo instalo un carrocero.Lo gastamos siempre que salimos con el 4x4 de ruta . Es muy útil y fácil de manejar. Soporta bien el peso y el acabado es muy bueno .
