John Bishop: Winging It Live

I went to see this tour in Wolverhampton last year & found it to be totally worth waiting for the tickets. I was determined to add it to my DVD collection, & was over the moon when it arrived today. However, the sidesplitting pop videos with John Bishop dressed up as Kylie, etc, that were shown at the start of the show have been edited out completely. I cant find them anywhere on the internet either, yet some of that content had been leaked onto facebook before i saw the live tour. Very confused as to why they've seemingly been deleted from history. There seems less energy in this performance & less of a reaction from the crowd. Guess you had to be there.

Great to watch

I laughed so hard in a few places, i was crying and nearly wet myself and also spilt hot coffee in my lap not quite as funny. if you are feeling at a loss for something to watch, it is very funny and also quite serious and sentimental in parts. i would certainly recommend it for someone to watch , cheered me up any way !!! cheers John .

Not as good as I thought. Brought for a present but I like John Bishop. More of a chat show.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he really enjoyed it. Having said that we are both huge fans of John. If you like his laid back approach rather than the "Royal Variety Show" feel some of his TV shows have then you should enjoy this.

This is a product review and not a supplier review as I can't fault them.Obviously it's subjective but we found this dvd very dull. Not really stand up, more of an unentertaining monologue. I like John Bishop's jokes on the tele but this tour is no reflection of his other work that I've seen.
