MasterbuiltMB20080319 Electric Smoker Cover, 30 inch, Black

Great cover for my new smoker. I want to keep it looking as nice as possible, but since it also lives on an outside patio & is exposed to weather, this cover is vital. Really great purchase if you like a "tidy patio" look when not in use.

The value for the money seem to be good. But the smoker we got that it fits we were not very happy with so we returned it unused.

This smoker reaches set temperature quickly and holds within a couple degrees. I did have to adjust the door to close the distance from the seal.

Material is lightweight and I was concerned that if when I was putting it over my smoker that if it caught a sharp corner it would shred it. I've been careful with it knowing that now and so far no issues. Just hope I don't get careless and find out that happens if I'm not cautious. Snug fit so I'm not concerned about the wind, I'm in Central Cali so I have no idea of it's water resistant or weatherproof because we don't really get rain. Time will tell on the features how it holds up.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it about 5 for 6 times. I've done pulled pork, fish, and chicken. I am very happy with my purchase. What I like most about this product is that it's easy to use. I have a simple unit with a digital timer and cabinet temperature. I just punch in the numbers, put in the wood chips and leave. Everything works well. One small point-- The temperature may run a bit low in the lower portion of the cabinet, so I have been raising the temps about 5 degrees. The pulled pork recipes typically call for 225 deg F., however, the recipe that comes with the unit tells you to set the temp at 250 deg. Well, the first time I made pulled pork,and set the temp at 225 deg, instead of the recommended 250 deg, the meat required an extra 2 hours. I had to eat late. Overall, I like this product very muchAlso, the cover is an extra $35, however, it is made with very light wt nylon and actually lets rain in, if left standing. I pitch the top a bit, so the rain runs off.

A must have accessory

I have an older 30" electric Masterbuilt smoker, and the one I had blew away in a storm. This replacement fit perfect! I now have a bungie cord wrapped around the middle of the smoker to keep it from acting as a para-sail when the wind really blows.

The cover is a nice quality cover, and we secure over smoker using a small bungee cord near the bottom to avoid winds lifting the cover.

Fits my masterbuilt propane smoker, so far it's lasted well over an Alberta winter. No noticable wear yet.
