I’ve been really pleased with these Govee smart bulbs. Setting them up was straightforward and once connected to the Govee app there are loads of options for changing the colour, brightness and overall atmosphere of the room.The colours are vibrant and there’s a huge range to choose from, but the normal white lighting is good too. I particularly like being able to switch between warmer lighting in the evening and a brighter white during the day rather than being limited to just coloured effects.The app gives you much more control than a standard smart bulb, with different scenes and effects available as well as the ability to create your own settings. The bulbs respond quickly when making changes and I haven’t found myself waiting around for them to update.At 800 lumens they’re plenty bright enough for everyday use, and being able to dim them from the app is really convenient. Having two in the pack also works well if you want matching lighting in lamps on either side of a room.There are cheaper basic smart bulbs available, but the range of colours and customisation you get with Govee makes these feel worth paying a little extra for.Overall, really good quality smart bulbs that are easy to use, bright and incredibly customisable. I’d happily buy more for other rooms.

I picked up the Govee smart bulb to add some ambient lighting options to my living room and it’s been a pleasant surprise. The brightness range is genuinely more noticeable than my other basic 16W led bulb! Warm whites look natural and cosy and the RGB colours are really vivid without looking washed out.The app control for me is quick and responsive and the preset scenes are actually useful rather than gimmicky. The colour transitions are smooth, and the bulb remembers its last setting, which is great when you simply want to turn the light on or off. You can also group the bulbs together so to easily control all the bulbs either by using a physical switch or simply through the app.Setup took less than a minute, and it connected to Wi‑Fi and added to my Alexa on the first try.If I had to nitpick the music activated feature could be better (as there's no mic input built-in, you have to use your phone to 'listen').Overall, it’s a great value smart bulb with impressive vibrant colour accuracy and reliable app control. I'd happily buy another or more to replace the other bulbs around the house.

I have bought this smart light bulbs around 9 months ago specifically for ease of control using an Alexa echo dot to control the lights and it is amazing.The lightbulb so far is good and really easy to use when using the app to change the colour and brightness, I do it everyday! Govee I believe is a reputable company when it comes to these as I also have another product from them just as good as these lightbulbs.So far I haven't noticed any immense use such as having burn marks none of that, I believe these bulbs are safe to use and the design of it is just as a regular light bulb making it work just as a normal when with even better features than a normal one.There are so many colours to choose from so whenever I want a light that’s dimmer at certain times this comes in handy having over 16 million colours I believe.

Compared to the usual faffing around when I've had to connect smart bulbs via an app this was so easy.And the speed! It's lightning fast and responsive because it's not being sent halfway around the world over the internet. Highly recommended if you want security, speed and reliability. You don't need any hub just a local wifi network. And you don't need an app if you have home assistant with matter installed. This is how home automation should be.The bulbs themselves are bright for just 9W and the colours are great. They look like a high quality product. If you are using over Matter they don't have all the functions available that you'd have on the app but I can live with that as you can change colour, control transistion times and tone. Great buy. I will definitely be using Matter devices going forward.
