These are great! I have 3 rubber backed rugs in the kitchen area, all of which are on hardwood floors. I spend a good deal of time dragging them back into place since they skate all over on the hardwood. These pads stop all that and the rugs stay in place. What I like most is that if you want to move them, you can. Great for when it’s time to clean the floor. They STICK to the rug, but only GRIP the floor, making them completely reusable when you move the rug. Solved a nagging problem for me.

These are on the pricey side but they are well worth it. I have used many sticky ones that leave glue on my floor and once they’re pulled up that’s it don’t stick anymore. Also they ripped the bottom of one of my rugs. I tried so many. Also my dog gets zoomies and always manages to pull the rugs up. Drives me nuts. These work great. They are easy to pick up off the floor and move. I haven’t tried taking them off the rug or washing them like they say you can. But only once did my 2 dogs manage to pull them up on a rug but they were wrestling. But I moved it and put it right back. Still sticks great.no residue. I’m actually amazed that they stay down. I will buy more for the rest of the rugs.

I had a couple of rugs that needed something in order to keep them in place. I didn't want to use rug tape or glue though as I didn't want our laminate floors to get ruined. I saw this and figured I'd give it a try. We have a runner, a small rug and a large area rug that I needed to use this on. The runner and the small rug tend to slide whenever we walk on it, our dog walks on it, or our kitten decides to speed across the floor. The large area rug just has one corner that I needed to keep down. I placed this on each end of the runner and the small rug and placed a piece on the corner of the large area rug that won't stay completely down. It worked great! The runner and small rug no longer slide....no matter how hard the kitten tries to get them to. It helps lay down the corner of our large area rug as well. No more tripping! The best part is if I have to lift them to clean, there is no damage to the floors at all. It's easy to apply, does not change the feel or appearance of the rugs in anyway and once it starts to lose its suction, all you have to do is get a damp sponge, clean the pads off and let it dry. After that they stick again! The only negative is that they are really hard to cut if you need a smaller piece. I had to cut one in half, and it took me a bit to get that done. Other than that, these are perfect and I plan to buy another pack.

If you have hardwood/engineered hardwood floors and oriental carpets these are the answer you’ve been looking for. They work great to stop shifting/ slipping rugs, and leave no sticky residue on the floor ( because there’s no adhesive on the floor side) they pull up easily if you need to move the carpet, and stick back down just as firmly. I don't plan to wash my oriental rugs anytime soon, but if i need to, I will remove the pads before I do, and just replace them with new ones, since I suspect they won’t stick well the second time around ( because there is adhesive on the rug side) and they are inexpensive enough that replacing them occasionally won’t break the bank. I also cut one pad up into four smaller pieces, stuck those pieces to the feet of a chair (also on hardwood) that would slide and bang against the wall every time one of my dogs jumped up on it to look out the window. These little pads stuck to the feet of that chair, keep the chair from sliding and smashing into the wall when my smallish dogs jump on it. (however I can’t promise this will work if your dog is 130 pound German Shepherd! ) So this product is not just a win for me, it’s a double win… And it’s saving the paint on my wall near the window too. Love, love, love these things! I wish I could find a way to stick him to the feet of my old dog, so he could walk across hardwood without slipping too…😏

The product seems like it would work well, but I haven't yet tried it. When the item came, I noticed even though it says "4 pieces" as if to use on 4 corners of a rug, there are only 2 pieces in the package. Two square pieces with gripped on one side and adhesive on the other. I tried messaging the seller but received no reply. Although I think this is a good product (although I haven't yet used it), I think the seller is being deceptive in their description. If you have 4 corners of a rug you need to buy 2 of these.

This is the second time I bought these sticker pads. They work well to keep the rugs in place and stick firmly to the floor. As with anything that’s taken up and put back down several times eventually they will give out, but they lasted me at least a year or two so I’m fine with replacing them every couple years. I tried several different brands and this one seems to work the best and doesn’t stick and leave a residue on the wood floors.

I have five years of experience with these. I have used them on seven antique rugs throughout the house, all in high traffic areas. They are the best solution for rug preservation, because the adhesive is well engineered to stick but not tear the fibers when removing them, and the best solution if you like to clean under the edges of the rug. They are much better than rug tape, which is too permanent, and damages the underside of the rug. These keep the rug firmly in place, and in my house at least, they rarely need adjustment. And, if they get dirty, which happens occasionally from lifting the rug, they can be cleaned with soap and water, left to dry, and reused. I purchased a bunch in 2021 and replaced some in 2023 and 2026. The only real disadvantage is the floor: you do have to have smooth floors---I don't use them on the slate entryway, for example, because they do not stick to it---but on smooth hardwood, engineered wood, or tile floors, they work exactly as intended.

Could not be more impressed. My bathroom rugs were a mess after every time the bathroom got used the rugs would always be switched around or pushed up against the counter/shower. I just used two on each rug and they don’t even move at all (ever). They come up easily when needed. Super impressed, bathroom always looks perfect now. Also very useful for light rugs when you vacuum, keeps it on the floor and doesn’t move.
