Relaxing and well put together painting
Love this picture. This is one of the best sets I have purchased. -fresh paint pots. I have had other pictures where the paint is tacky. - well marked lines and numbers - finished product looks like the picture listed here. Would recommend to anyone!

Challenging!
I am an artist (non-professional), so this paint by numbers set was a great challenge for me. Painting with acrylics is exciting. You can create your landscape and your portrait painting projects using thin to thick coatings to accomplish an exacting texture. OBVIOUSLY, I used the outline and then made my own original art because that is how I paint. Don't stress out and just have fun with it. Suggestions: 1. Flatten out the folds by lightly spritzing with a spray bottle the back and laying it flat with a towel and heavy books until it dried 2. Use better quality brushes 3. Acrylics dry quickly – sometimes too quickly. Use an Acrylic retarder, or keep paints moist by misting them with a spray bottle. 4. Staple canvas tight to a 16x20 stretched canvas or wooden frame (easy for framing) 5. Skip the numbers you can't read and then fill in with the color that looks most promising 6. Use an acrylic sealer canvas spray to finish it off and slide the stretched canvas frame into a wall frame. This turned out to be beautiful for framing. Finally, a common strategy for approaching a painting, is to begin with the darkest, and gradually progress through the mid-tones to the lights, adding your highlights right at the end. This is because it’s usually a good idea to keep your darks thin, as it helps with the illusion of depth, and it’s not easy to put thin darks on top of thicker lights, hence why it’s best to get the darks down first. This is certainly a solid approach and one I follow regularly.

A few adjustments makes this project that much better
For anyone who’s going to purchase this, I recommend you also purchase: (1) an acrylic retarder; (2) a good quality size 2 paintbrush; (3) a good quality size 0 paintbrush; (4) a good quality size 0/2 (also called size 00) paintbrush; (5) some painter’s tape or masking tape if you don’t already have it. Before you begin to paint, use a warm iron to flatten the creases. Then, using the masking tape, tape off the edges, leaving the edge line exposed so it doesn’t show in your final product. As other reviewers have mentioned, the paint does ball up and dry out a bit, which makes it difficult to finish the painting with the paint provided. To prevent that (or limit it), after you’ve used enough of each paint pot, deposit a pea sized amount of retarder in each pot, and use a paper clip or the back of your paintbrush to mix it in. This will help stop the paint from drying and enable it to stretch a bit further. You may need to do 2nd coats of paint on some of the lighter colors, but trust me, it’s way better to have to do that then to run out of paint before you can finish (or get that icky grittiness on your painting). I have had to do this with all the paint by numbers projects I’ve done of this size, so it’s what I expect to have to do at this point. As for the quality of the product: the final product looks fantastic. No question. But it’s not true to the colors on the image on the listing. Also, the lines and numbers printed on my canvas (and the paper guide that accompanies) appeared to be printed with a printer that was running out of ink. In some spots it was difficult if not impossible to tell what the number was supposed to be, and the paper guide was no help. Likewise, some of the numbers are distorted to fit each space; e.g. in a long skinny section, it was impossible to discern a 1 from a 7, or in a really tiny section the number was barely visible to the naked eye. In sections that sort of snake around other sections, it was difficult to find the number. In some of these spots I made educated guesses based on the surroundings For others, I left them blank till the end and then just put whatever I thought should go there. Ultimately, I just kept in mind that little mistakes or going outside the lines was not going to affect the final product’s appearance. Overall, if you’re okay with the things I’ve mentioned, I would recommend this product. Mainly because it really does look beautiful in the end, albeit slightly different from the image on the listing.

A wonderful value
Maybe not the best for beginners. The numbers are super tiny and thus hard to read. And there’s many tiny paint spaces, but it’s only to add dimension to the final product so that it looks like a picture in the end. If you want a cheap hobby, this is awesome. Everything you need s included (enough paint, the right brushes) If you are looking for a zen winter hobby, turn on the radio or audio book of your choice and enjoy! My photo shows the halfway done work. It looks exactly as promised in the writeup

Don't buy
Do not buy paintings from this company. The paint is unusable. There are so many other great companies to buy from that give you a great product. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE

Get acrylic paint pens instead, dark line and numbers
Cute pic, big, paint was iffy, some splotchy and some thicker but not dried out. The brushes are very cheap, I recommend also ordering good inexpensive acrylic paint pens, they helped out of this world and I think it turned out better. I didn’t realize it would have solid black outlines and numbers which were a little hard to get paint to fully cover, I prefer the more sheer lines and numbers,

Beautiful
The item arrived as expected. It was very therapeutic and good time killing during pandemic 2020. This was my first paint by numbers and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The paint brushes weren't great but used it anyway from start to finish. It took me almost 2 months to complete it. The end result to so worth it. I would suggest buying better quality brushes. I also brought iron which some what helped removed folds. But putting on the wall for weeks evened out the folds. Some numbers were missing and some were hard to read. So I had to make best guess from the reference picture. I suggest buying maginifying glass which helped a lot for me.

Very good
This paint by numbers is probably one of the best I’ve ever done high detail on the paining I’ve done other paintings but this one seems to be the best when it comes to detail. I’ve been doing paper numbers for quite some time and in almost every case the higher the detail repainting was categorized as adults. This is one of the best that I’ve ever done and I’ll be ordering from this company again.Thank you so much for this paining it was well worth the time that I put in when it was finished thank you again
