What type of paint should you use?? Everything i have tried scratches right off.

I mix acrylic paints right into it to give it a base color. I then use acrylics, acetone based spray paints, stain, alcohol activated paints, you name it. Each achieves a different effect.

How would you compare this to aves apoxy sculpt? Thanks

They are very similar although the Aves line does offer extensive color choices as opposed to magic sculpt. Some of our artists say that Aves has a longer working time. Aves does have safety information available (msds sheets) while magic sculpt does not.

Can it be pressed into a mold?

Yes but I’m not sure I’d trust it in anything with fine detail or where air bubbles are likely to get trapped.

Is there a possibility to work longer on my item than only one hour? Could I keep it wet and air-isolated to slow down the drying process?

I just mix it as I go. Mix for one area, add detail, mix for the next, etc. the drying is a chemical reaction so putting it in an air-tight container will not prevent drying and water doesn't really penetrate beyond the surface layer.
