Q: Anyone use these while scuba diving?

Yes, there are many SCUBA divers using HotSnapZ to stay warm. Unlike the disposable heat packs that do not operate in water, HotSnapZ product will work in water. When placed in a dive suit, it is recommended that some fabric (T-shirt, rash guards, pouch, washcloth, etc.) be placed between the product and the diver's skin. The initial heat release spikes for a several minutes and the pressure of the wet-suit pressing the product against bare skin can be too intense for many divers. As diving conditions and heating needs vary quite a bit, placement of HotSnapZ during dives is typically determined through diver experimentation.
