I am able to steal my Landlord's WiFi across the street. (I had their permission)
Computer + N4000(The Product) > Connects to WiFi I am able to connect to my Landlord's WiFi, even its across the street with 3/4 bars, yet I live in their garage. *Easy Install for my Desktop, I just unplug my old USB WiFi Receiver, and plugged in the new one. *Not so Easy to install on my Laptop though, because my WiFi Receiver is pre-installed in my laptop, so... I went to the Device Manager in my Control Panel, opened up Network Adapters, then I selected the one that labeled "wireless", mine was named Intel Wireless-N 1000 (Will be different for everyone else), Right clicked on it and Left clicked on Disable Device. Then the New WiFi Receiver will do its thing automatically when its plugged in. If the driver did not automatically install, then the USB-driver or the small CD-driver will be useful to manually install the thing on your own. I purchased this item on September 25, 2018. Their wire cable is very long. Their Stand/Bracket is not very useful for me, because I took advantage of the long cable instead, and set it outside of my rented home. The White Plastic made this thing very light weighted, but their blue metal plate was a bit heavy( the antenna ). The WiFi range that I am able to receive was very far, as if I bought two $13 WiFi Receiver combined. Speaking of WiFi Receiver, this Model N4000 can only receive 2.4 Ghz WiFi signal, no 5 Ghz WiFi signal. Meaning this N4000 is very useful Long Distance uses, yet it has a limited amount of speed it will give you, depending on the WiFi router. In conclusion, its a great budget product over all to purchase if signal distance/range matters, for a WiFi Receiver... Wait... it's labeled as a WiFi Extender now? Huh, it is a WiFi Antenna, sounds more useful now its labeled as WiFi Extender.

Didn't work at all for me
I'm glad others found this device easy to install and use. I did not find it so. I read the instructions, installed the software, plugged the antenna in, and was able to detect no wifi sources at all. I uninstalled the software and tried it again. I called Amazon support. They were able to offer no solution, despite a lengthy and sincere attempt. (The one star rating for tech support is in reference to the absurd manual.) I had the antenna on my roof and everywhere else. The USB plug had an addendum plug, the purpose of which I still do not know for sure. It is not mentioned in the manual. There is also some sort of extension plug or adapter thing that looks a bit like a thumb drive, the purpose of which I do not know, as it is not mentioned in the manual. Nonetheless I tried every possible configuration of plugs in all USB ports. I don't want to use multiple ports for an antenna anyway. I need those for other things. Sent it back.

Stable and Fast Connection in my Vintage Camper
I use my vintage camper as a second office now that my family has been taking over the house. Being that the old camper is skinned in metal, my connection to the house WI-FI was very unstable and weak. I'd be lucky to get 3MBPS, if anything at all. It was always dropping off. I plugged in this WI-FI antenna, installed the driver on my PC, set the antenna outside and pointed it at the house. Bingo - 5G WI-FI typically over 100MBPS!!! Perfect solution. Streaming business meetings in Skype and MS Team now with perfect clarity.

Performed as seller described more or less
Installed unit about 150 ft from wireless router with no obstacles. Outdoor installation about 12 ft above ground, WiFi signal strength increased significantly over thumb drive USB WiFi adapter. Seven more WiFi sources were displayed. Software driver installation a little tricky on DOS 7, instructions are confusing but the product functions well, would buy it again. Signal strength diminishes on rainy days. Driver Disk included with product is made of very brittle plastic, shattered disk when computer was accidentally set on top of it. Used a USB extension cable with integral amplifier to achieve suitable distance from PC.

Hey thumbs up!
My wife’s grandfather was trying to connect to WiFi from across the street. Other antennas didn’t work but this one did.

Bragging is NOT helping and certainly the most frustrating customer service - ever
TUOSHI says "Work with R658U WiFi Router". So I buy the router. Instructions for both devices are too small to read. Really - even with a 25X magnifying glass!!!!! I ask for PDF. When I ask for help with the combination of the TUOSHI antenna and the TUOSHI Router together, here's what I get: For the Antenna - I get instructions to connect antenna to PC, but NOT to their R658U WIFI Router. For the router, I get instructions to set up the router - stand- alone - BUT NOT for working with the TUOSHI antenna. All the literature and questions answered refer back to the statement "Work with R658U WiFi Router". OK - so I'm convinced and even happy that it could work, but they REFUSE to tell me how to make their two products work together - just keep bragging that they do!!!!! Whoopy Twang! Of greater frustration, after hours of Google searching, I found an image of instructions to make both work - but of insufficient resolution to be of any real use. SO - the instructions exist, but TUOSHI simply won't share them after the effort of generating them. Conclusion: TUOSHI customer service SUCKS - really really really SUCKS. Don't they know? Bragging is NOT helping!!!!

Worked perfectly for one week.
The product worked amazing for 1 week. Currently living in an rv, using it to boost the rv park WiFi to my computer. Yesterday it disconnected randomly and now when I plug it in it will connect for 15 seconds or so then disappear. I’ve deleted and reinstalled drivers.. I tried using the software it came with “very Chinese”. It’s just dead. I’m sending it back and getting something else. I will say that when it worked I went from barely registering the WiFi signal to 100% signal strength, but it’s useless if it dies after a week.

Works better than Nothing.
This product definitely works as described. My computer went from seeing absolutely no Wi-Fi to seeing all of my neighbors Wi-Fi. I don't pay for internet but now I am able to use my parents Wi-Fi about 400 ft away. The connection speed is very slow, but it is better than nothing. I have a hard time streaming YouTube videos, but I can download them in the 3gp file format, which is high compression, and still be able to watch my videos. This thing definitely works for the price. I have only had it for about a week. If this thing continues to work, it is definitely worth the price and not buying one of the more expensive $300 ones. In order to save the USB connection, which seems kind of flimsy, I have it plugged into a USB extension and I only unplug and plug in the extension into my laptop, I hardly ever unplug the actual device from the extension. The cable length was just barely long enough for what I needed, if you have this thing mounted outside (I didn't have to in order to see the wifi connections but outside up high gave me better speeds) your computer is going to need to be next to the wall adjacent to the device. One of the other reviews complained that they didn't explain properly how to use this with a router that was also under the same brand. You do not, do not, need to mess with the router at all. This device is an antenna for your computer and has absolutely nothing to do with the router you are trying to use the internet from. On my Windows 10 machine it was plug and play and I did not have to install the software. I would not suggest installing the software, it honestly does not seem all that great. As far as the device working at all it kind of seems like a 50/50 shot, I have four different computers and the device will only work with two of them, I did not use any of the software included with any of the computers. TLDR: this device is at the very least worth a try. I have only had the device for about a week. So far so good. Plug and Play very easy. Hopefully this comment helps, I was skeptical at first but I'm very happy. I will edit this if anything changes.

Didn't Work as Advertised
After connection the unit and installing the software the unit did nothing at all that it's been advertised to do. When software was uninstalled, I had various problems with my WiFi network that I am still trying to get right.

Es muy ineficiente
Lo coloque en interior para probarlo y no recogía ni la señal del módem a 20 metros, lo probe en exteriores y nunca reconoció señales de 100 metros.
