This is such a great device! These now go on ALL my tremolo based guitars.- Fixed Bridge: Tighten a couple thumb screws (can be done quickly in between songs on stage) and use as fixed bridge. This can not be underestimated, fixed bridge improves tuning stability and string bend evenly (no lag from tremolo springs). And tuning is faster, no retuning strings multiple times because your spring is stretching because you tuned the other strings. Plus you can retune to drop tunings without changing guitars. Plus it makes it much easier/faster when changing strings, especially changing one string!!!!- Tighten one screw and use as dive only tremolo; (tuning stability) and can be done in seconds in between songs on stage. Also re-tune to drop tunings without having to adjust your tremolo springs.- Use your guitar as a standard floating tremolo by loosening both thumb screws.- This is not a bad thing to me: you will need to leave you back plate off it your plan to change the settings often. if you plan to set it and forget it, you may not have to leave it on. The first version of the Tremol-no stuck out ever so slightly so my back plate wouldn't go back on, but it looks like they have fixed that in this version. Your tone is supposedly better without back plate any way.- You can install yourself. just use common sense when removing springs (read instructions). hold hand over springs to they don't go flying.TIP: you may have to tweak the angle of the arm every so slightly so it moves smoothly. Follow instructions. I had a Suhr guitar that seems to work better/stay in tune when there was a tiny angle to slide arm. A 2nd guitar & 3rd guitar where I didn't need that angle. Follow instructions, listen to hear if slide is rubbing or binding. Also, I had to adjust the tension on my springs afterwards, no big deal (the wood screws)

It keeps the guitar in tune well enough. Before, every time I tuned, say, the 1st string, the 6th string and others down the line were knocked out of tune. Maybe the only thing that works better would be a wood block glued on the back, but that's pretty permanent, and this can be locked totally, or unlocked completely, or locked one direction only so it doesn't go back (or up on the bar). Easy enough to install but it will take 30 minutes or so.The instructions are not very clear so you've got to use your own logic. Backlash and residual play in the shaft will make it unsatisfactory so be sure, after it's all in and done, to screw in the wood screws a tiny amount (like 1/16 of a turn) before twisting down the Allen set screws. This removes backlash. (Don't be stupid and set those set screws first, use your brains.) They sort of explain this but not very well. Whatever you do, in all instances of tightening down, don't over-tighten or you'll break something.

This is a great little product. I primarily got this just to convert my Floyd Rose into a regular stop tailpiece. It is a bit tricky to install, I had a tough time getting the springs back on once I installed but somehow I got it. And once I did, the thing really works good. It's like it's not even a Floyd Rose anymore. I'm able to tune to anything whenever. The strings stay in tune very well too. I can't speak for using the knob to switch from tremelo to non-tremelo because that was not my purpose for this. But It does look and feel a little flimsy for that. I'm not sure that will hold up for that long switching back and forth with that. But like I said, I can't speak on that.Anyway, this is a great product. I like it and recommend it. Not bad price either. Works great. My only downfall is the install is a little tricky without the proper tools.

I wanted to install the Tremol-No on my Sterling Music man, because making unison bend in tune was a pain in the a… I also wanted to switch to Drop D whenever I wanted.I first set it in “Dive only” mode, but I realized the trem bar lacked flexibility and that it messed up the tuning, even used gently. But tuning stability + trem bar have never been a great combination with my guitar anyway.So I locked everything and the system keeps its promises. Note that switching from “full lock” to “dive only” will impact the tuning (it was the case with me). Positive point, making bends in general is way easier now.It was just my experience with it, maybe if you have a better quality guitar with a better Floyd rose/floating bridge, you will be able to use the “Dive only” mode without problem.I highly recommend to make it install by a professional, especially if like me, you’re not a handyman and you’re a noob when it comes to Floyd rose/floating bridge.

Installation can take some time but nothing too complicated. Works exactly as intended, haven’t had any issues so far (~1 month of usage). Even comes with a few spare screws and whatnot in case anything breaks!

Absolute piece of junk. The apparatus works with two jamb nuts that thread into a sleeve and lock onto a smooth piston. In theory. In reality it constantly slips. Thats right- it doesn't lock firmly in place. Those YouTube videos lied to you. Further, if you do get it in tune, the sleeve and piston cause really nasty vibrations that can be heard through your pickups. It also feels absolutely awful when you use the whammy bar. It is clumsy, it vibrates and virtually destroys your fluid motion as it slides in and out of the piston and causes friction with the walls and jamb nuts. Oiling it wouldn't help as it barely locks in place as is, but i will get to that. The jamb nuts are a major problem. If you don't take them all the way out, they interfere with your fluidity as they stick. If you do take them all the way out, the vibration and buzzing becomes absolutely unbearable. Guitar playing is all about the sound and the feel. This device ruins both. I have included photos so you can see for yourself how it works- or doesn't.The pin type clamp is also extremely flimsy. I wouldn't trust it not to break. Set up and tuning actually took much longer than if I simply used wooden blocks- because wooden blocks don't constantly slip and slide. If you lock it in place and barely touch the whammy bar, guess what? It slips. The "lock" is complete garbage. It simply doesn't work. At all. Adding oil to ease the clumpy sliding motion would make the lock nuts even more pointless as they would slip worse than they already do against the smooth piston shaft.Save your money. Do not buy this piece of crap. I hope i saved you some time and frustration. Do not- I cannot emphasize this enough DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.I now begin the process of getting my guitar back and tune the way it was before. No more gimmicks for me.

I'll start by saying that this product was a lifesaver. I have a huge love/hate relationship with Floyd Rose bridges, and this makes it absolutely tolerable. Most importantly, it allows me to change my tuning at a whim without having to worry about setting up the bridge again. The installation was extremely easy, just run the tremolo screws out and insert the new bar. They were even thoughtful enough to include a place to screw down the ground wire, instead of requiring the user to solder it onto the new hardware. It allows you to block off the tremolo temporarily, but it also allows you to allow movement in just one direction.I highly recommend the Tremol-No. It is easy to install, easy to operate, and saves me a huge headache. This product is worth every penny.

I spent three hours trying to install this and most of the time was spent trying to micro adjust the angle of the claw so there was no binding of the rod as you use it. After the set up was ideal, then there is a sympathetic buzzing of the rod internally as the rod vibrates against the outer sleeve that kills your tone and sustain- you can hear it when you play clean. Perhaps if I lubricated the hell out of it, it may solve the problem but it seems to me it would make a mess and suck tone and sustain. IMO it’s not worth it. Also the small adjustment screws are easy to lose (in order to float they must be loosened and they can back out and fall on the stage and are lost)

Here's the thing. This works great, at least for a while. However the screw locking parts are quite small and they seem to work loose with the natural vibration of the guitar, so at some point you will find yourself hunting one or more of them down. The same goes for the locking attachment to the block, the very tiny screw came loose and the whole assembly fell apart. As a consequence of this the mechanism has developed a tiny bit of slop in the hinge joint, which means the hinge vibrates when you play and that is transferred to the strings, so the strings vibrate, VERY noticeably. With a more secure means of locking the thing down as required this would have been great. Removed and wont be replacing.

Great product, top quality. it was easiest to install with the strings attached if your 2 point system tends to fall loose. Also having the strings on balances the spring tension while installing. Directions and procedures to install on all types of trees would be helpful.

持っているギターは、ガスリーモデルでもこの Tremol-No がついてないものでしたが、後付けで付けました。ダウンオンリー、フィックスと出来る様に。弦交換が楽になりますね。

This fits perfectly my Original Floyd Rose tremolo and keeps the Bridge in tune. It gives the option to completely lock the bridge or but it in dive mode only locking only one direction of travel.I recommend to use 4 springs on the back.
