Does Not Connect Easily
This is an awful opener. I've been trying for an hour and can't get it to connect. The manual is difficult to follow and only available via a QR code on the remote itself which then just keeps trying to connect me to the app and doesn't tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm going back to the old school opener type. I love technology, in fact, I work in tech, but this product has horrible usability!

Disappointed in the range for non myQ openers
I bought this because I have one Liftmaster and one Genie garage door opener. The Genie is connected to a myQ hub, and I thought I could connect to the Genie through that, but it was not the case. It did allow me to program to the Genie following the standard programming steps, but I was truly shocked at the range for the Genie. No exaggeration, it only works up to 6 feet away. The Liftmaster that was linked through the myQ app works fine from a reasonable distance. There is nothing wrong with my Genie, as my vehicle garage remotes and the Genie remotes work from at least 150’ away…the farthest I have tried to use them due to line of sight. I am keeping it because of how I plan to use it (mounting it between the garage doors as a second control panel), but if I had planned to keep this in a vehicle it would be utterly useless.

Great for smart home integration DIY
Used this remote to integrate new liftmaster door opener with new Security+ 3.0 protocol into HomeKit to open my garage by voice from anywhere. Meross newest tool is not compatible with this new system so I've got cheap DieseRC 1 Channel WiFi Smart Switch (here on Amazon) with dry contact plus this Security+ 3.0 remote. Soldered 2 wires to remote button contacts and plugged them to NO-COM terminals on relay. Any relay logic could be added to Shortcuts so you can call them via Siri. P.S. remote is well-built and easy to connect to wall garage opener button (double press Link button and just press remote button like 10 sec).

It works but the setup video is ambiguous
It works with my genesis garage opener (model GACO-SHA 2211D with a yellow learn button), but the setup video was hard to follow I found on youtube, after pressing the button 3 times, you have to wait for the garage door to move before clicking the button to lock in the channel at the last step, and clicking the button after the light flashes alone is too early.
