Carrying Case for NS Switch/Switch OLED(Gray)

I took a long, long time deciding which case to purchase for my Switch - and thankfully was not remotely disappointed by this product. It is fatter than other Switch cases, which enables you to store more inside. Out of interest, in the zip compartment I am able to simultaneously fit 2 spare joycon next to each other, a folded playstand, and 4 joycon straps (!). With the full Switch w/ 2 joycons in the other half, and slots for 19 games, this can hold a complete gaming kit for 4 players on the go (aside from the mains lead/charger, of course - you might be able to fit this in in place of the playstand if you don't have one of those, though I cannot confirm this). The case is nice and tough/hard, meaning total protection for your Switch, and materials seemed very high quality. The only niggle was one thing inside had been sewn on a little wonky, so the craftmanship is questionable - but this does not affect use of the case at all. For the price, it's a steal. I was so very pleased I went for this. (Also check out pro controller cases from Younik, if you're interested - I have purchased two and they are incredible quality).

If you commute or you travel a lot, I would highly recommend getting this carrying case. It's a reasonable price and is quite durable. It also offers peace of mind which you can test for yourself. Your switch will fit comfortably into the case and it will never move. It also easily fits into my backpack, even with my laptop and college books already in there. It has slots for 19 game cartridges which should mean you will have more than enough to keep you entertained on long trips. If it does have one fault, it is that Nintendo's bulky AC adaptor does not fit into the top storage section of the case. However if it was any bigger it would not fit into my bag and thus it would be useless. It comes down to what you want as a customer. You could always opt for the larger version made by Younik which accommodates Nintendo's massive charger, but for me personally this version is fine. After all you can always use a usb c cable and your phone charger adaptor, both of which will fit comfortably in the storage section along with two extra joycons. Get this case, or the larger one, your call.

Absolutely love this for storage of my AYN Odin 2 portable android games console. The Odin 2 fits with about an inch to spare on one side. The depth is perfect , the elastic pockets on the soft screen protecter allowed for gaming extras , card readers , adapters and other small items to be stored . The zip up top storage is ample to store a few cables and accessories ,but ... Anything thicker than about 20mm may stop the case from closing . I bought the black one with red zipper trim and I love it , the semi hard outer casing is lovely and feels premium despite the small price and the stitching on mine really is quite good . I like the fact that the product name is on the lovely handle and not on the case itself , making it universal for games devices like the Odin 2 , powkiddy x55 and similar 5- 6 inch screen devices. I can't fault this case especially as it is meant for the Nin. Switch

***** Since I wrote this review Eli at Younik customer service has organised a replacement case. Sadly they delivered the case to the Amazon locker wherre my original order was sent but they did not provide a code for the locker so I am unable to collect the replacement.Edit... This was Amazon's fault ... not Youni's... The product is overall good but sadly I got a defective one and couldn't get it replaced. Amazon have refunded me. I want to love this case as it is big enough to hold some accesories and genrally well made with good materials. Sadly the inner netted pocket is not properly stitched in to the case. You can see from the photos that it is completely detatched from the case in the upper left corner. This is so sad because I got the Pro-controller hard case from Younik and that has a netted area that is properly stitched in. (See comparison photo below). Although I love the ideas behind this case i.e providing a large enough case to add in accesories like a portable battery for example, the execution on my example is lacking and I will be returning the case for a refund. I hope Younik can address this and provide a properly made case for my Switch because I love the Pro-controller hard case from Younik and it would be great to not have to go to another brand and have mis-matching cases for my Switch and Pro-contoller. I hope that Younik's customer service can step in here and send me a properly stitched case (that I would be happy to pay for/cancel my refund) so I can update my review with a great outcome. This would be the best case of this style on the market if it was put together as well as my Younik Pro-controller hard case. ***** Younik have promised a replacement case, but delivered to an Amazon locker without sending me a locker code. It is now 2 weeks since I placed my order and I still don't have a satisfactory solution. I am currently awaiting a response from their customer service about how they intend top resolve this. I will update this review if I get a satisfactory outcome. Edit : It was Amazon's fault with the delivery. The case is a good product generally speaking, I just couldn't get hold of a non-defective replacement.

The case is made of a semi hard material. It's sufficient enough to protect anything inside. I like that the case is molded for the joycons so that the switch slides into the hold very nicely while the joycons are attached. The flap is soft and will not scratch the screen of the switch when it is covering it. However the flap does not secure the switch in place, which basically means when the case is closed and zipped up the switch can fall out of the mold and move around inside. It would have been nice if the flap could attach to the side of the case via Velcro or a button even, so that it ensure the switch will not move. This case will protect your switch if the case isn't allowed to turn upside down. I could see that it would be ideal for transport while the case is in a suitcase and is unable to move around. Outside of this use case I wouldn't recommend buying this case just because there is no strap to securely fit and prevent the switch from moving. ****UPDATE*** Was in contact with customer care and Eli from younik is brilliant. I was informed that the product has been updated and my concern (lack of strap) is being implemented. Customer service is brilliant and the new case is greatly improved with the strap. I would recommend this case to any Nintendo switch owner, that is looking to protect their switch on journeys and brings a lot of games with them. Again can't stress how brilliant Eli was and the case is now being used every day. I'd recommend it without a doubt!

Before selecting a case to purchase, I did some thorough research into the available cases for the Switch. I'd never heard of this brand and it wasn't spoken about by many YouTubers, however I found this case to provide WAY more than the other cases do, such as the official nintendo themed cases. The advantage of this case is that it has so much space between the console and the pockets on the other side. This means that you can fit a lot in without squishing your console. Most cases don't have this amount of space, so I really recommend it for this. The actual shell is quite hard although it looks somewhat soft in the pictures. I'm very confident that if you dropped this (zipped up) onto concrete, your Switch, games and accessories will be unaffected. The pockets for the games are quite strong and none of my games have moved at all during my travels. The case also has very nice moulds for the triggers of the joycon to fit in nicely, which gives it a snug fit. My only two issues with this case are: (1) it is quite big compared to others. This can be a problem if you want to travel with the console a lot as it takes up a lot of space! (2) It doesn't have any flap (like some other cases) that help you to take out the console from the case. I tend to have to really get my fingers under the console to push it up. Despite these issues, I highly recommend this case to anyone if you want to protect your switch when you travel.

Great value and very sturdy. Plenty of slots for game cards and a zip pocket for cables etc. The case is fairly bulky, not overly so but this is welcome as it feels like this adds a little more protection for your Switch as it is nice and sturdy. Dont expect room for the charging dock, power plug or pro-controller etc, its not that kind of case. If there was then it would be far bigger and not as portable. This case is definitely aimed at those who will be using their Switch on the move and will probably charge it with a USB cable and separate charger, say their phone charger or a wall socket with USB port. Thats what I do and it works just fine. I’m very happy with this case and would definitely recommend it.

Pretty good for the money, nearly didn't buy because of the smell issues. It does smell sort of like tar and burnt rubber. It is quite strong too and despite leaving it open since I purchased, it still smells. It also had small bits of glue/lint inside, which brush out with a bit of effort. I'm giving a fair review still though, because actually it has loads of storage for games, has the deeper recess for the Switch analogues and feels pretty well made, especially for the price. Hopefully one day they will manage to manufacture them without the smell? UPDATE 3 months Later: So, after a few days the Velcro strap stitching became loose, but it turns out I never even use it, so not much of an issue. I've travelled around with my Switch a bit, and it's protected very well, storing an extra set of joy-con's in the case too. I would highly recommend this case as it was pretty cheap, the smell has finally gone and it is a nice design. Thought the loads of game slots would come in handy, but I tend to download my games.

Le produit répond parfaitement à mes attentes ! Console bien protégée et joycon préservés grâce aux encoches prévus à cet effet. De quoi abriter "quelques" cartouches tout en protégeant l'écran. J'aime particulièrement le compartiment avec filet. Il accueille le Play stand Hori, les dragonnes, mes écouteurs de une chiffonnette micro-fibres. On pourrait y loger le chargeur mais il est tout de même un peu volumineux et pourrait exercer une pression sur la console. Je prévois cependant d'acquérir une batterie externe qui, elle logera sans le moindre problème. En résumé : + L'espace et la capacité en cartouches + La solidité + Les finitions + Le maintien de la console + Le rapport qualité/prix - L'odeur au déballage qui ne plaira pas à tout le monde (s'amenuise avec le temps). - Difficile de retirer la console naturellement (prévoyez un petit ruban à poser au fond pour tirer et le tour est joué).

È raccomandata a chi viaggia spesso e vuole avere molti giochi a portata di mano, ma ricordate che dovrete portare l'alimentatore grosso in una tasca a parte. La Dritta in Più Quando riponete accessori nella tasca a rete superiore con la cerniera (quella in alto), assicuratevi di posizionare la testina della zip verso il lato esterno o di coprirla. Se la zip metallica penzola al centro, quando chiudete la custodia potrebbe sfregare contro i Joy-Con o lo schermo della console, rischiando di graffiarli.

The best case I have seen so far for the switch. Comes exactly as described, fits more games than all the others I have seen, the pocket is nice to fit your cables and joycons. The case is also solid, so it does a great job protecting the console plus there's a strap to keep the switch in place.
