Worth the price
I needed sturdy trekking poles. I weigh 195 lbs, and I read all the reviews for poles poles starting in the $30-40 range and moved up from there. I spent hours looking, and found two common complaints for lower-priced poles: the locks tend to slip and the carbon poles tend to break. Both conditions can be dangerous. These were the least expensive poles I could find that did not have those complaints. There were some reviews that people only got one, or even no poles in the shipment, but these were older reviews. After receiving and testing these poles, I can say they feel very sturdy. I tightened the locks once, then adjusted them once, and now they do not slip even with substantial weight on them. On a recent hike I depended on them for some technical terrain, the the held well and felt firm.I elected to pay a little more and get the cork grips, and I am glad I did. In the southern Appalachians where I live it can get pretty warm, and the cork grips cost about the same as a pair of gloves. I am pleased with the purchase.

cher
colis reçu avec les batons qui sortent du carton. SANS embout silencieux. Pour le prix c'est scandaleux

Received Used Poles.
Nice poles - I like them.I bought “new”, but I received used ”used”.Box was re-taped, minor scuff on foam grip, minor scratch on pole shaft.None of that matters much - I’ll scuff it up in normal use fairly quickly, I imagine - but it is like paying full price for a “floor model” - I’m not too happy about that.

Strap replacement seems to be more of an issue than it should be
I am giving four stars I love these poles I've been walking with them for 3 months straight but one of the straps just broke and while it seems very straightforward and easy to fix it seems like a giant pain in the a** here and cost more money than they could nearly be worth to get them replaced nobody's got them in stock and from what the internet says it seems like it's a toss-up whether or not they will charge me a shipping fee even if they send me new ones for free under warranty but again they're very straightforward to replace
