My kid won't eat them from Amazon...
So, my child is special needs', and only eats certain things. Mini tots being one of them. Now he has been refusing to eat them for months. I find when I started purchasing them from Amazon - the consistency was all off. The tots were misshaped and all different sizes. They do not even look like tater tots sometimes. I cook them in cast iron with a little oil and Turmeric because they are obviously not so healthy for a staple. However, when I order them from Jewel and Force my child to eat them or no entertainment via YouTube - then he enjoys them. He will not eat the ones from Amazon. It seems to me that Amazon has a deal with food distributors to buy the products that have anomalies, and are rejected from the production line for other grocers. Because it does not make any sense that Jewel's tater tots are uniform and normal as usually they are. ... and months into the shutdown, Amazon starts selling "regular" brands - but the quality is trash. So I have 2 bags in my freezer now that have been sitting there - that will be thrown out. And now I have to purchase some from somewhere else, or the kid will starve himself. There are a few other items I started buying through Amazon that my child will no longer eat - after eating them for years. I pay attention, and I did see the quality change on so many things.
