I have hallux valgus and it's getting worse and worse!I feel pain in my big toe recently!The foot pain has already affected my work and sleep,and it has hurt so much!I tried taking some pain relievers to suppress the foot pain,but it doesn't work very well.My orthopedist didn't advise me to have surgery,and he thought there might be a recurrence after the surgery.I like his advice that he told me that using a foot splint to fix the big toe was a good way to improve the condition,and I should always wear loose shoes!I bought this hallux valgus corrector on Amazon,which is well designed,easy to use,and very comfortable.The corrector holds my big toe in place and keeps my big toe straight.I was pleasantly surprised to find my immediate foot pain relief after the first time I put on the hallux valgus corrector!I have to say,this hallux valgus corrector is very effective!I've been wearing it for about a dozen days now,and my foot does't hurt anymore.I walk around the house every day wearing it,and it's so comfortable that my foot does't even seem to have any restraints.I believe that one day I will be able to completely get rid of the pain,and I will stick to wear it for the health of my foot.

I bought these for my wife and this is what she has to say: My Orthopedic Surgeon recommended I get this type of foot correction due to recent foot surgery. It's only been a week that I've been using them and I don't see any improvement, although, I don't know how long that'll take. I'll have to find out from my surgeon. What I can say now is when I received the product, it had dirt marks on it. I hope these were not used ones, which were then sent to me. (I read someone's review on this product and they had the same situation.) I should have returned them (maybe I still will), but I had decided to wash them instead, so I could start using them. Thetefore, no opinion at this time; that's why I gave it 3 stars. I may update this review at a later time. This is in no way a reflection of the quality or the effectiveness of the product. Just the cleanliness of it. Thank you.

So far this product is amazing. Overall product is sturdy and is definitely helping with the pain in my feet. I never had issues with a bunion until I started wearing high heels six days a week for work, within a month of working said job I began to experience significant pain in my right foot some in my left also but my right foot was causing me most the problems. As you can see in my photos I do not have too bad of a bunion but I hoped to get a product to help now to avoid needing surgery down the road. After doing some research I decided to buy a bunion corrector which was a cloth soft version with a simple piece of wide foam to place between the big toe and first toe to separate the toes and begin to push the bone back into place. That product was working fine for me but within a week of wearing them the foam slipped out of place and were unusable as the foam was impossible to get back into the correct position and total waste of money. Now with these plastic correctors you have no problem keeping them in place, they are comfortable and seemingly doing the job. You can do lite walking around the house in them but I wouldn't recommend trying to wear with shoes as they are plastic and somewhat bulky. Since getting these I have began to wear them at night while I sleep and I find that the best time to wear them long term. I would definitely recommend this product if you are dealing with discomfort due to bunion or toe overlapping issues.

Total garbage. My wife got to wear them for around 5 minutes before the side gave out because they didn't set the rivet or find it wasn't set later. Update: I set the rivet with a punch and that side now works. The other side however immediately fell apart when both of them were put back on after the repair of the first. What is worse is that during manufacture the other side only received 1 washer instead of 2, so I will have to see if I have washers of the correct size. Or, now here is an idea, just pitch them in the garbage where these belong. These things are total trash. A complete rip off. UPDATE: I have just received email from the vendor offering me 80$ to remove this review. So if you are wondering why there are not more 1 star reviews, now you know. Needless to say I'm not taking the money. Oct 2022 UPDATE: Since I didn't remove my review for 80$, today they are trying to bribe me with 50$. I'm not sure they understand how bribery works? This new email talks about how they are a new vendor who needs a chance. The email screamed MALWARE so hard I had to sanitize the link before trying it. Randomly generated gmail account names are a big red flag in any email you ever receive. No malware but it did look like it. Seriously, never trust [email protected]. Also we are used to "American" names being adopted by people who are on the other side of the planet. I'm not guessing Lenore and Benjamin are their real names. The thing is, their sob story with "I'm a new vendor" doesn't fly, as we are used to scammers folding and popping up a new shop minutes later here. If their reviews go bad, that is what they do. Maybe next time they buy a 5 star review product's listing or hack it, sure people wonder why your PH meter is has thousands of 5 star reviews for silk flowers but if they don't look to close.. I am saddened that apparently bribery works so reliably, that they assume I can't have integrity and so they keep trying to bribe me. As apparently this is not over I will keep you all updates as new bribe offers come in. PS. please be nice and do not put in false 1 star reviews, just to try to get bribe money. You do not have to sink to their level... well and the standard scam is once you pull the review, you can't put it back, so they never pay you. Maybe I should have left that bit out so scumbags that were going to go for bribes could have learned that on their own. Please help make humanity better.

I've been using a bunion corrector for a few years now and it helps with the pain. It's easy to use and the interchangeable foot design is great. The only downside is eventually the velcronon the toe strap will lose its "stickiness" and lead to needing a new replacement (hence the 4 stars). Overall I find it helps with pain and worth the price.

These aren’t rugged or meant for walking around in. Wear them to bed at night with socks on to keep them in place. I’ve had a double bunionectomy for ‘tailors bunions’ years ago. I’m 31 years old and never worn tight shoes or heels, it’s a genetic defect. Wearing these pull the toe away from that position slightly to alleviate pain, it will NOT correct a bunion. The first night made a difference because my big toe joint normally burns, throbs and aches. I believe after a couple of weeks it will make a HUGE difference. Just be consistent, don’t walk in them, and give it time!

The product page indicates that there's supposed to be two units for this item but only one is in the package when it arrived. The product works fine, although having one is insufficient

bought this for my daughter, it fits great unfortunately she can only wear it at night, she was hoping for all day , doesn't fit in her shoes with it on, to expensive to buy more shoes, but she likes it and still uses them
