Check your product before installing.
Loved the product but one of the pillasters is defective on top, as shown in the pictures. They were already installed when we noticed it. It is very noticeable from the 2nd floor of our foyer. We are open to suggestions as to how to cover the open area before painting the top.

It looks and performs like real wood but is SO easy to cut and install because of its weight. The paint went on beautifully as well. And considering it was 30% cheaper than ordering it from Home Depot this really was the way to go!
