LawnMaster CLGT2412S - 24V 12-Inch Cordless String Trimmer, Battery and Charger Included

I actually love this thing. It’s well-made and easy to charge and use. I’ve had an electric one for ages and I get really tired of dealing with the cord plus I do some community gardening and there’s not an electrical outlet. I’m so glad I bought this. It’s not much heavier than the other one and not using the cord is actually saving me way more time than I expected.

It works

I read all the reviews, I do have to agree with 1 person that the handle isn't in the greatest spot once you put it on. So I cheated and put it how I liked it instead of in the grooves. Other than that, it has good power behind it. I can do a lot before it needs recharging. I'm not a 100% on how long it takes to charge because I forget to time it. I'd say 45 mins tops and half hour minimum. I'm going to buy a 2nd battery so I don't have to wait for the 1 to charge before I can continue. Its very nice for edging. I like that you can tilt the end to how you want it too. The button for the string is also nice. I'd say I can get around half hour to 45 mins of use out of it before it needs a charge. Not as light as I thought it was going to be, but lighter than the gas or electric ones. I would purchase again when I need to. Hopefully that will be a while. And if the light on the charger is flashing green, it is charging. If it is not flashing it is fully charged. Doesn't come with wheels like seen in pics. Those you'd have to buy separate.

Great trimmer! Long battery life - my arms got tired before the battery did. One tip - if you’re like me and don’t always read the entire Operators Manual… when I first used it I couldn’t figure out why it felt like such an odd uncomfortable angle My husband noted the Pivoting Head button on page 20 - duh. Now it feels fine. :)

The string does not auto feed from the weed eater and you have to constantly stop and "rethread the needle" for lack of a better term. It has the power to do the work but you are consistently stopped to pull the string out. I would not buy this one again. I tapped it on the ground like friends have suggested. Didnt work. The string keeps getting caught into the base also. HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I have tried for months to make it work and have just come to the conclusion that it is a piece of crap. Normally I try to write good reviews especially if its a small business owner, but I can't muster up the strength to say ANYTHING good about this product. And to make matters worse, it is past my refund period. I have to spend more money that I DO NOT HAVE to find a better product!!!
