Over all great rain fly
This rain fly is truly a wonderful thing, plenty big to cover any hammock but yet very lightweight. I have slept through a thunderstorm with a very heavy downpour and was dry the whole night. There is little pockets for the two main cords. Over all build quality seems very high. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because their is a seam in the rain fly and some water did manage to get through, the amount of water was nominal it was stopped by the bug net on my hammock so I stayed dry. I sprayed the seam with some seam sealer and now not a drop gets through.TIPS:Make sure you have a break in the cord/rope/strap you're hammock is suspended by. Water will run down a rope and into your hammock I use a carabiner - make sure the break is under your tarp.Make sure you peg the sides down wide, and the hammock doesn't touch the sides of the rain fly, you will absorb any condensation built up underneath as well as any seam leakage. There is a right side up to this tarp - Check the seam, the smooth side should face the sky.

Overall a nice durable rain fly
Overall a nice durable rain fly. Came with attached ridge line to attach to trees but they are not very long so choose your tree spacing carefully or, a better option, use a separate ridge line and used attached lines to tie to it. The attached ridgeline can be stuffed into small pockets sewn onto tarp where lines attach. Nice feature if you want to keep things neat and tidy. Also came with 4 guy lines attached at corners with easily adjustable cinch stops. I really like this feature. Two additional loops for guy lines in middle of sides but without attached guy lines.

I'd buy it again
Effective rain fly when treated and deployed properly. It packs small and light, and provides plenty of coverage when set up in the rectangle formation to keep you out of the rain.I gave it 4 stars because I did pull off one of the line connectors, but was able to rig it to maintain effectiveness. I was pulling the rain fly pretty well taught though, just didn't expect it to come off that easily. In the end, I'd buy another, and would recommend this rain fly for it's simplicity of set up, effectiveness of purpose, and low relative price.

Not for me
Not too impressed with this rain fly. First thing, this fly would be 100 times better with tie out points in the center along the length. Major downfall in a windy environment. Second, the yellow loops at the peak of the fly seem very frail. I used a carabiner and a Prussik to attach to my ridgeline and I was constantly afraid that they would rip off of the fly. I think that is a very weak point of attachment. Third, on the second night of my first time using this, we had a slight to moderate rain. After a while, there were a few drips of water down by the edges on the underside of the fly. I didn't get wet, but had the rain been much harder, I may could have been wet. I wish HB would redesign a fly for more durable, hard use. Prob gonna look at ENO to buy what I want.

You will need to purchase stakes separately
It works. It's fine. It's "extra large", but it still only barely covers the hammock bliss sky bed, and I wonder what will happen when rain soaks the tree straps of the hammock and runs down the hammock strings. Also note that you will need stakes to make this work. I'll borrow my tent stakes for my short backpacking trip, but I'd be frustrated if I were going on a longer trip or if I expected to have everything I needed for the rainfly with this purchase.

Should be wider
Kept me dry through a 8 hour light rain. I would prefer the a little more material on the sides. With my first setup the hammock bliss sky bed hammock was touching the side of the fly. I added 2 more tie outs with some tarp clamps which solved the problem. I also purchased a Eno Dryfly for my son. I wish I had spent the extra money and purchased 2. On the plus side setup is simple and quick.

Meh... Pretty bad...
The material has significant stretch to it. Best of luck keeping it taut. The guy lines that it comes with are poor quality. The ridge line is too short and poor quality. Sealed the steam on both sides. There was light coming through the gaps between stitches and the needle holes. It's not really waterproof either and soaks up water which it makes it sag even more. If you're buying it to use for shade, or your in a very mild climate it might work out for you. Otherwise, take a pass.

Very good tarp, but very high price
Very good tarp, but very high price. I ordered a competitors product which came with plenty of cord (to hang the tarp as pictured) and it also zipped into a triangle configuration, the material was thicker. I was happy with my Hammock Bliss until I discovered a better product significantly cheaper. Shop a round a bit.
