I don't have anything else to compare these to, but we now have two of these weighted blankets, and we love them! We have both the army green one and the peacock blue/gray one, and both are listed as having "smallest compartments" in the title description, and they really do have 2-inch squares. I think having so many different styles of these blankets grouped under one listing causes some confusion, since some colors have the 2-inch squares and some have the larger ones. But I can confirm that these two colors are the small squares! I LOVE my weighted blanket! I've had mine for two months now (we just got the second one for my wife), and it just makes sleeping so much easier. And cozier. I'm not sure how I ever got by without it, and I don't look forward to next summer, when it will be too hot to use it, but I'll stress out over that bridge when I come to it. I will say that while I expected these to get too warm, they don't get as too warm as I thought they would, if that makes sense. I think I manage to sleep under mine about half the night before it gets too hot. Also, we got the cotton duvet covers made by the same company. I definitely recommend getting the duvet cover! Especially if you have pets who might randomly yuck up your blanket.

A big no for me. It basically felt like a bedspread. You couldn’t even feel the beads. The color was spot on.
