Fantastic crimp tool. I have used it roof the first time on a job at home. They do a fantastic job, very neat crimp and very professional finish to the job.

Good quality but i didn't realise the "mini" factor reffered to the connector sizes they can be used for.Fine for all the modern small connectors but too small for conventional crimped spade connectors etc.

They will do the job, but it takes time. My main gripes are that the lever to disengage the ratchet is difficult to use. The inserts I got don't properly fit the crimper so I am not sure which is at fault: the tool or the parts. Finally, sometimes the ratchet 'locks' when using it and you have to squeeze and release several times before you can finish the crimp and take the pin out. A quarter of the time the pin is bent and the crimp goes wrong so you have to start again. Frequently the crimp simply isn't strong enough to hold the cable and it must be tightened down with pliers. I tried using a normal pair of pliers to crimp all of the pins and it was easier and faster.

Over the weekend I crimped a lot if wire for a vertical halfwave, with a lot of radials made from scraps of wires I had. Tool performed without an issue. All crimps were successful. You will need some practice to make them perfect.

These were recommended by Amazon for automotive electrical crimps to fit waterproof connectors. Useless, way to wide for such small crimps. Use a pair of small pin nose pliers.
