Learned hard way, But Anderson Power Poles and Contacts! The cheap crap is nothing but cheap crap!

Unlike a lot of the knock offs available on Amazon, these ones are the real deal. The fit and finish of real powerpoles is far superior to the knock offs. I've tried a few of the knock offs, and they just aren't very good. Maybe if you always got the exact same knock offs and used those, then it would be ok. These are the real ones and fit perfectly with my original supply

This is a combined review for https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSE9R4M & https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DWI32K2 which i ordered at the same time and the second of which arrived today. I dont know why they arrived on different days but i think that fact makes my issue more significant. Each pack came with only 49 pieces! If i didnt need between 30-40 of them tomrrow for an event at the radio club house i would ne starting the return process. Anderson Power Poles are an excellent system; less tedious to build than XT60 and much less bulky than MC4 (you may know these as 'solar' connectors) and much less likely to cross polarize and start a fire than SAE. The products themselves are excellent. The fact that two separate ones arrived with missing pieces is not excellent. Power Poles deserve 5 stars across the board for every category except price but i accept that quality products cant be the cheapest option.
