The best designed product I’ve used in a long long time. I have been staying in hotels for the last few months and got sick of bad / expensive coffee so wanted to brew my own and this just did the job perfectly. It keeps cold stuff cool and hot stuff hot for hours. It’s amazing. Such a shame I don’t see them available anymore or would have bought some more.

I’ve had this a few weeks now and after consistent use, I can say I would recommend it. Pros: Keeps drinks hot/cold for 8 hours easily, this is more effective if you heat/cool the cup before use. If I am having a hot drink, I fill it with boiling water for 5 minutes before pouring the water back in to the kettle or for a cold drink I fill with ice for 5 minutes. Very nice size to hold, not too chunky so good for smaller hands. Easy to fit the lid and because it’s vacuum sealed, it stays in place and is leakproof. Lovely choice of colours with a chip proof matte finish. Great filter function, just be aware that you can’t pour the water all in one go, you need to pour water over the filter, wait for it to filter through the coffee & then add more. Unfortunately this can be time-consuming. Nice size which means you get a generous 400ml of drink. High quality stainless steel so no metallic taste or tainted coffee. Cons: No handle! It would be really good if this came with a detachable handle as some other cups do. Difficult to clean the lid. I tend to rinse it after each use and leave to soak, otherwise it can be difficult to clean hygienically. Time consuming for the water to filter through the coffee. I’m unsure if this is a design fault or just the nature of having a small filter. Overall excellent value for money and I would recommend to coffeee fans!

They say you lean a lot about a company when things go wrong, and I certainly did on this case. A couple of issues post-delivery were addressed promptly by the supplier and I am left feeling pleased overall with the purchase The good: - Well made product, looks good - Makes a great cup of coffee- once you tinker with the amount of coffee needed to suit your taste - Drink stays hot for a long time The less good: - In the product description it says it fits most car cup holders. Well it didn’t fit mine, which is a current-model Skoda. I found an adapter on Amazon which gets around this, but this added another £10 to the cost - The lid seems to be the weak spot of an otherwise well made product. Mine broke within a month (the cup took a tumble). Supplier quickly put that right though - Not dishwasher safe, but it’s easy enough to clean by hand In conclusion, I’d recommend this product despite the couple of issues I had. Makes great tasting coffee, and is really a no-risk purchase given the high standard of the suplier’s customer service

Excellent mug, strainer and lid is not the greatest but works if you use it with consideration that the bung has to allow air flow to allow you to drink. DON'T tip it over or it will leak and possibly lid come off if bung open - not tried with it closed ! - remember its designed for normal use not roughing it without consideration! Be careful with the water from the kettle dripping on you due to the slow fill - best coffee tasted ever in a mug and stays warm for hours and hours - Brilliantly designed. Would be perfect with screw on lid as others have said- but with size and length of time warm it is a bargain - just a little more user interaction required to make and use - really it's a mug for the home or office not putting in a bag for travel. Could be used to travel in the car with the bung closed in the lid to seal it better .

Got a couple of gator canisters and liked the quality of them, this continues that trend. Very well made, the pour-over brew is great, probably better suited to a coarser grind than the first lot I've tried (lavazza pre-ground rossa), but still coped ok and provided a very nice tasting coffee. The lid is great, no leaks at all, sits snuggly enough that the cup can be held upside down without leaking or dropping out, AND IS PERFECTLY EASY TO DRINK FROM. If you have any level of common sense, you'd realise that the opening for drinking is quite small, so difficult for liquid to come out and air to get in at the same time. Unlike a shockingly high percentage of their customers, coffee gator aren't complete eejits as they've provided a second hole above the drinking spout that can be opened to allow air in while you take a nice, long, uninterrupted, perfectly controllable sip of your beautiful hot filter coffee. Imagine the look on the faces of those unable to grasp such a simple concept when they read this. Their horrifically disfigured burn-scarred faces. 🤔

Filter doesn't work very well, gets blocked too easily no matter how course the coffee grind is. This is a great idea just poorly executed.

What a true delight. Once again Coffee Gator has demonstrated their commitment to better coffee. My commitment is enjoying better coffee For many years I've used a $5 plastic travel mug. Invariably, by 9a break, my coffee is very cold and unappealing. BUT enter Coffee Gator! Classy styling, no shame in my game feel and look. I was cautious my first use since there have been reports of leaking. Well, it's NOT a design issue, and the "fix" (if it could be called this) is very very simple. The gasket can "roll" during assembly for sale in China OR even when cleaning back at home. Just moosh the gasket a bit so the gasket (U shaped) is facing smooth side (read bottom of U) rests against the lid and the open "U" faces the sides of the mug when sealed. Oh my, wordy for sure, but hey... When I clean my travel mug I also clean the edges of the lid... Bacteria ya know Ah, performance... You guessed it. I fill my travel mug with hot water to preheat it. Brew my blend into the mug and at 0900 amazingly it's still pleasantly hot. All without lugging a thermos - 2 1/2 hours after brewing. I do pre-heat this mug using boiled water, an extra step but rewarding hours later. MB even half past. No borosilicate glass here, just well engineered steel... Life's adventures are waiting each day... Journey with confidence... The destination remains assured The temps here are in the 30s. I do sit outside during break. The mug is impressive The filter is one of the very best in the industry. Not one but several layers of stainless steel type "mesh" that reduces the fines in the bottom to a mere thimble. I grind my coffee as per their recommendation between 4-5 (for drip or pour over) using the Coffee Gator Mill measuring 23g fresh beans. (My electric auto grinder, while fast and noisier at 4a than pm, does generate significantly more powder because of manufacturing slop than Coffee Gator's manual grinder. Not every life revolves around manual grinding, my children have their own, a luxury I assure) This filter does not absorb essential oils as paper filters do and therefore maximizes the flavor profile similar to the French Press proclivity toward the robust. It's a refreshing design which is engineered and executed well. To clean I turn it over the waste bin and tap, then rinse with water. My waste bin is a garden composter, there are other. About once a week I'll use a soft brush and detergent. I always air dry... Not a spot of rust nor mineral buildup. Originally I discovered this on their website. And in true Amazon mercenary fashion waited until... Yes! Sale price...YAY! After all is said and done (with British panache...) tally-ho Quiet ELEGANCE

I couldn’t be happier! I couldn’t get coffee tasting good from the “K” thing. Cleaned changed filters and just gave up on it. Since I work 12 shift and NEED my pick me up at 5am I went with a pour over cup. We had purchased a French Press as a gift and was pleased with the quantity. So here we are happy and caffeinated. Would recommend to any coffee lover. My 1 and only complaint is that the lid hole is a bit to narrow even with the vent open. Quality 5 🌟Craftmanship 🌟

For a year now I have been trying to figure out an easy method of making agreat cup of coffee in my bedroom...my aeropress is toos but getting dangerous...scalded myself badly last year after over a decade of awesome morning coffee. Had to put it away. The Hario pour over is too complicated with the cloth filtering to clean and keep sterile.My French press...while good is difficult to clean....and along comes a new Cosori kettle and a Gator coffee travel mug with a cone mesh filter!!!! What quality!!! A perfect cup of coffee...minimal danger, effort and mess!! So easy to clean and it stayed HOT,!!! This cup & cone amaze me. A product that actually delivers, performs above expectation ( we Americans have been so duped into accepting inferior products) AND is brilliantly simple in design and function!! THANK YOU! I purchased 2 so I have an extra cup and filter should I need it. Feel like heaven reached down and kissed my morning!!!
