Great with a phin coffee filter
I'm not super experienced with doing coffee 'right', but in my opinion these beans are pretty good, nice dark roast for a stronger brew, has some flavorful undertones without straying very far from what I think coffee should generally taste like, I like 'em and would definitely say they're worth trying. I got these along with a few other bean varieties both from Amazon and a local hipster-type 'micro roaster' or something (lol), as kind of my intro into brewing coffee using more proper methods (aeropress, chemex, and a phin), picked this one because I wanted one that felt at least somewhat authentic to use with a Vietnamese phin coffee filter (which I'd also recommend trying yourself, they're pretty cheap), and it's probably my favorite roast of the selection I've tried so far. Personally I think it's pretty good value, the hipster roasted beans cost twice as much by volume, and maybe I just have no taste but I think these are better lol. Mostly been using these beans with the phin, and that yields some pretty strong coffee, but I've been enjoying it like that.

The BEST Vietnamese coffee in the US market
6 stars?!! Whole beans or ground, the taste is the same. Makes a delicious latte! I prefer whole beans because I grind as I make ‘em. Definitely tastes stronger than other coffees I’ve tried. Versatile with any milk, surprisingly good with Lactaid! even tho I’m not lactose intolerant. Very reasonably priced for the quality & quantity. A must try/have for all coffee lovers!! & I love getting their coffees at Smorgasburg in NYC every summer :)

Best robusta I've tried
Great flavor! I've tried several robusta brands and this one is my favorite. No bitterness or harsh undertones. A wonderful morning pick me up.

Tasty Robusta Flavor!
This is a very bold, robusta-forward roast with a strong and distinctive flavor! The quality of this coffee is right up there with specialty with rich aroma and a deep toasty cup. The bag includes instructions for brewing it phin-style, which I thought was an interesting addition! I don't have a phin, so I made it as a regular drip and it still ended up great! The most unique part of the flavor was the "popcorn," tasting note, which I can honestly say comes through clearly in flavor (among the dark chocolate and nutty flavors as well). For value for money, this feels like a solid deal if you are either new to robusta coffees (reasonable entry price) or are a regular enjoyer of them (something a little different from typical blends).

Quality Energy Boost Enjoyable Robust Vietnamese Coffee🌟
I really enjoy 88 Coffee Company Vietnamese Whole Bean Coffee. It has dark rich beans that yield a deeply robust flavor. I’ve enjoyed it using a Vietnamese Phin Filter, a french press, & an espresso machine. All methods produced a smooth dark cup of coffee that was low on acidity. Today <pictured below> I enjoyed as a shot of espresso. It really hit the spot for an evening boost & a little me time. If you’re a fan of smooth dark roasts without a sharp tangy aftertaste then 88 Coffee Company Vietnamese Coffee would be a lovely addition to your coffee repertoire.
