Very sparkly. In my rather extensive experience onstage in sparkles (pageants from a young age) the earring doesn't need to be anything but sparkly because no one can see what it looks like if it's doing it's job right, anyway. These sparkle, they were inexpensive, and they didn't hurt my ears. Couldn't be happier. A great value.
