Yes, it is used by kids of all sizes. Take a look at the first two minutes of the video attached. That baby is eight months old.

Are there 2 pillow hands per package?

The package includes two: one right hand and one left hand, instructions and the washing bag. That is what is needed per baby or adult for more versatility: one scented by dad, one by mom (scent by placing it on the chest or behind the neck for an hour or overnight), one on the top and one on the bottom, on both sides for nesting, etc.

This thing was a godsend!! I was able to place my son in his crib after swaddling and rocking him and wrap it around him like my arm would be and he would sleep 6-8 hours. He was a baby who needed constant contact. When my girlfriend had the same issue they were out of stock and I was able to find one for double but it was worth every penny. She uses it with her second baby now and is still amazed by it. Make sure you place it on your skin for some time and get it scented with your personal scent, weird but it helps.
