Handrail Review: Good for turtle and crayfish - The suckers (4) are quite powerful and are holding up the platform firmly in place. The platform itself is slightly flexible so you can keep it at a more vertical angle if you want. I am using it for my crayfish tank. The green mat gives a good hold for the creatures to climb up, unlike other plain, pvc platforms. Once a month or so, take out the platform and scrub the green mat with an old toothbrush, under running water to flush out any dirt and detrius. At the same time, remember to thoroughly scrub off any algae on the suckers - algae makes the sucker's surface slimy and reduces it's grip.
