Great silent keyboard
Quality is great! I like how the battery lasts for a long time. It is definitely a silent keyboard. Connected to my laptop quickly too!

Best Wireless keyboard under $50
Fantastic keyboard for the price! Wireless Bluetooth works well so I didn't have to worry about losing the dongle. Scissor switches have great key feel for being so low profile. I would personally prefer the keys to be clicky, but for $40 it beats any other bubble/standard keyboard out there. The quality and feel is far above it's price point while looking good in your home or office!

Some good some bad
The keys feel nice and smooth to type on, they are quiet and not clacky. The keyboard misses keystrokes every so often though even with the dongle plugged in. Connectivity can lag initially when turning the keyboard on.

Good balance
I needed a Bluetooth wireless 80% keyboard, and mechanical wasn't necessary, so this was a good fit. Keychron makes good quality for reasonable price.

A lightweight membrane scissors keyboard that's a Keychron - meaning QMK/VIA-like customization!
This Keychron B33 serves as my first actual Keychron product I own, as their other stuff was far out of my price range despite my crazy mechanical keyboard collection and spending habits. Having returned from travel I've been looking into trying out some lighter and more compact designs so I wanted to give this TKL/"ten keyless" board a try and also finally get into this well-known brand. This Keychron isn't even a mechanical keyboard - its a compact membrane scissors keyboard with some very standout modern features that make it unlike anything else I've used. For starters its a tri-mode wired/bluetooth/2.4ghz which has become the standard but something you'd expect to spend more to have. Second, it has the Keychron web customization driver which is basically QMK/VIA with Keychron branding. Its hard enough to find ANY QMK/VIA options these days let alone a compact, ultralightweight TKL - which opens the door for a lot of possibilities in how I use this. I'm a power user that likes to have different special buttons for better performance depending on that application or even website that I'm using. Since QMK/VIA and the Keychron web driver allow this to be possible, this is already light years ahead of my similar keyboards that can't do this. While I also main mechanical keyboards I run so many builds I still use membrane based compact keyboards daily so I still appreciate when this is done well. That being said, I was somewhat disappointed in the feel of the keys. They have a bigger throw than expected given the low profile of the board, and they feel "squishy" to different degrees and lack the kind of tactile bump that I would consider pleasant in the other scissors / membrane keyboards. I currently use these types of keyboards built into Lenovo Legion Laptops and the Logitech K360 - both types which I consider best-of-breed so I can't let this Keychron off easy. They keys do work well and don't drop presses, but I just don't think it feels as tactile or consistent as I'd like for it to give me the speed and accuracy I want - but this is a personal preference. If you like squishy and no click-feel on your membranes this could be your favorite! I'm happy with most other physical aspects of the keyboard with the power/mode switches and dongle storage placed on the back wall of the keyboard so you don't have to turn it over. The USB-C port is connected on the right side and there's a slight overhang above which can help reduce the stress on it. The rubber feet are well placed and keep it stable and it still offers 3 heights despite the low profile. The edges are kind of sharp and unpleasant to feel which aren't great for portability - which is a huge selling point of this keyboard, but if it bothers me I'll take some sandpaper to it. Despite the other modern features this board has no lighting whatsoever which is okay considering the affordable price of this model. I have seen RGB membrane keyboards masquerading as mechanical boards but that's not really what this is trying to be. Another quirk is that the VIA-like implementation uses all 4 layers because it uses 2 layers each for Windows and Mac, and if you want full use of all the layers you'll have to eradicate that whole setup since it seems this product puts a high priority for Mac users. The key choices for the PrtScrn/ScrLock/Pause are also odd in that they move ScrLock to the right, take away Pause/Break and replace it with a Cortana/Siri button? As someone who has that trash disabled on all my builds and someone who still uses Pause/Break often for applications, I'm not a fan of this choice but at least with the configurator this is easily changed and the first thing I did in the web menu. For the $35 asking price this offers great value for money and was unexpectedly affordable coming from the Keychron brand. The functionality is great, but I think the feel in both the keys and the harsh physical edges could really be improved upon.

Keychron is the one!
I got this keyboard because I wanted a clean, wire-free desk setup without the loud "clack" of my mechanical gaming keyboard. I needed something professional enough for the office (so my coworkers wouldn't hate me) but responsive enough for casual home use. The 80% TKL (Tenkeyless) layout was a must—I never use the number pad, and I wanted more room for my mouse. The Specifics: The Switch: It uses a unique "Taller" Scissor Switch. Unlike flat laptop keys, these have slightly more travel (3.5mm total travel) and stability, giving you tactile feedback without the noise. Connectivity: It’s a triple-threat. It connects via 2.4 GHz USB dongle (instant, lag-free), Bluetooth 5.2 (for my iPad/Phone), and Wired USB-C. Battery: It boasts an impressive 320 hours of usage on a single charge, which is weeks of work time. Quality, Price, Utility, Durability & Usefulness Quality: For an ABS plastic keyboard, it feels surprisingly dense and planted (approx. 550g). It doesn't flex or creak when typing. The keycaps have a concave design that hugs your fingertips, and the pre-lubed stabilizers mean the bigger keys (like Spacebar and Enter) don't rattle. Price: At roughly $35, this is an absolute steal. Most keyboards with tri-mode connectivity (2.4G/BT/Wired) and Mac/Windows compatibility cost double this. You are getting Keychron's legendary connectivity tech for the price of a generic Logitech membrane board. Utility: The Keychron Launcher (Web App) support is fantastic. You can remap keys directly in your browser without installing bloatware. The physical toggle switch to flip between Mac and Windows modes instantly is a lifesaver if you use a MacBook at work and a PC at home. Durability: The battery life is the standout durability feature. I’ve used it for three weeks straight without charging. The scissor mechanism feels snappier and more robust than the mushy keys on a standard Dell office keyboard.

Drops keypresses frequently.
I noticed immediately that it was dropping keypresses. Maybe like 1/10, 1/20? It varies. I suspect it's debouncing globally, rather than per key. Eg, when I typed "certain" one time, it dropped "er". That would make sense if "c" bounced, and then "er" got blocked, cause I type fast. One test I did is I mashed four keys a bunch of times, and like most of the time you only get one or two of those, and sometimes you get none of them. I don't know if that's a good test for debounce; because that gets into n-key rollover; but whatever it is, now you know. Kinda sad, cause if it weren't for the dropped keys, this would be an awesome little keyboard. I was tempted to just deal, but this is going to be too disruptive for me, so I'm returning it. The keyboard is very quiet - plenty quiet for work, and much more quiet than my mechanical keyboard with cherry MX silent switches. Keys feel fine to me. Not too flat, and not too close together. 2.4 GHz seemed to be working well. None of that bluetooth sleep lag nonsense. Quality seemed decent. It's beautiful. The connectivity options are awesome. Well, in theory - I didn't try them. FWIW, I use a mechanical keyboard normally, but I wouldn't say I'm a keyboard enthusiast. I'm not a gamer either. I'm a programmer, and a touch typist. I was looking for a decent quality TKL wireless keyboard to use at work. For ergonomic and productivity reasons. I sometimes use my current mechanical keyboard, but it has this ugly crappy wire that makes me feel embarrassed in some locations. I tried another wireless mechanical keyboard (Logitech G Pro X), and it was amazing, except it was super duper loud. I've used two or three other mechanical keyboards, and many run-of-the-mill keyboards that you find at offices. Sadly, I'd rather use one of those (except the bluetooth ones) instead of this B33 keyboard.

yes. its worth buying.
this is my third keychron keyboard. i use it on my laptop and carry it with me because the layout is perfect. the high battery life and fast charging is convenient. it comes with a high quality keychron cable just exactly like my primary keyboard that ive used for years with no issues ever in regard to charging or connectivity. its a very fast keyboard in terms of speed connectivity and typing. ive even used it to work on other peoples pcs. just hook up the 2.4 ghz dongle and you get instant access with your own clean wireless keyboard. i love this keyboard and if its lost or stolen i will immediately buy a replacement without question. a++ product.
