As a parent of a competitive lacrosse player, finding a mouthguard that is both protective and actually wearable has been more of a journey than expected. My daughter tried several other brands before settling on the SISU Aero Medium Mouthguard, and the difference was immediately noticeable in comfort and usability. The first thing we appreciated was how low-profile it is compared to traditional bulky mouthguards. It allows her to communicate clearly on the field and breathe more naturally, which is critical during fast-paced play. Unlike other guards that feel restrictive or constantly need adjustment, this one stayed in place and became something she didn’t constantly fight against during games and practice. A major advantage we discovered during the season was its moldability. Mid-season, my daughter got braces, which typically would have meant buying a completely new mouthguard. Instead, the SISU Aero allowed us to reheat and reshape it to accommodate her shifting teeth and orthodontic changes. That flexibility alone made this product worth it for us, especially given how often teeth positioning changes during orthodontic treatment. Protection has remained solid throughout lacrosse play. While it feels thin compared to traditional guards, it still provides confidence during unexpected contact situations. More importantly, it has not interfered with her performance, breathing, or communication on the field. Durability has also been impressive considering it has been reshaped due to braces adjustments. It continues to hold its form well after repeated use and reshaping cycles, which is not something we experienced with other brands that degraded quickly or lost fit. Overall, this mouthguard has been a practical solution for an athlete in a changing dental situation. It is especially useful for players who may undergo orthodontic changes during a season, or who simply want a lighter, more breathable alternative to traditional bulky mouthguards without sacrificing protection.

Truly amazing product. I did have some trouble fitting. I tried like 6 times, but couldn't get it to form without a wrinkle somewhere in the front, which is a big problem with grappling. Eventually, I figured out that I could just hold it in my hand and dip only part of it in the water (the wrinkled part) and put it back in and actually push on my lip, which pushes on the guard, to flatten the wrinkle. The guard is extremely comfortable, which means I'll actually wear it. I think I'll end up using it as a night guard as well. I only have three critiques 1. It's small, with a small bite pad. I got the adult version. It says 11+ years old. It would probably fit an 11 year old perfectly. There's no way I could form it without the holes being on a significant portion of my bite pattern.(Picture 1) My teeth are just too wide. Toward the back, there are holes on both sides of my bite, on both sides of my mouth. 2. Even with everything perfectly smoothed, I can still feel the holes rub against the inside of my lip when my lip is squished against the guard. With grappling, that happens a lot. I'm afraid it will rub the inside of my lip raw. I wish there were a version that didn't have holes. In nearly any other sport it would probably not be an issue. 3. There's no case. The thin plastic package it came in will suffice for now, but it won't last long. If it were just a little thicker, it would have worked as a case. Edit #1: on my first time out using it, one tiny little wrinkle at the top, right in the middle, smoothed out so much that I couldn't even feel it, still made my lip bleed. (Picture 2) got a small cut at the bottom, too. Presumably where one of the holes are too close to the front bite. I'll keep trying to remold it. I really want it to work because it's so comfortable.

Recommended by LAX coach for youth lacrosse. Medium size seems to fit a petite teen (just at the bottom range of the height range for Medium Size). Seems to fit well, and the thin material allows talking, which is important. Absolutely no problem fitting it after watching the video instruction a few times. Will add the fifth star if it is as durable as some have said. Scary to think about, but a nice touch is that the company has a $50,000 dental guarantee of protection. Knock wood we’ll never need to find out if that’s legit!

These are the most durable and effective mouthguards. They are low profile but allow the user to communicate easily on the playing field. Our Orthodontist told us they are the best product next to an Invisalign to protect the teeth and gums. They are very simple to form and the company provides easy instructions for use, your mouth guard can be ready to hit the field after just a few minutes. One thing our family likes is the size of the guards for small to larger mouths. They provide a guide that is right in. Lastly there are great color choices and our family likes to have a few different ones in their sports bags.

My family and I train in a couple different combat sports. This is a nice mouthguard without the gag reflex. Size estimates are a wee off once you are near the line from one size to the next, so if that’s your situation, size up.

Molding this correctly is a pain. It’s nice that you can try a few times. But there’s always something not quite right each time. It bunches up and makes pointy sections or it grinds into the gum line. I got it good enough to use, but I don’t like it.

If you're thinking about playing sports, this mouthguard is the best investment, especially when you need to communicate to your team during the game. I play lacrosse and have tried cheaper, and basic mouthguards and found it so hard to control my breathing and talk to my team mates during matches. I tried other cheaper alternatives which added up to be more expensive than this product in the end, and found that non of it worked out well for me. I decided to invest in this product (as a uni student with a budget it was a hard choice!) and have no regrets at all. I can easily close my mouth, control my breathing, and talk clearly to my team. Moulding it was no issue, at first it was daunting as i had read reviews of it going wrong or not working for some, but I took my time and if it didn't feel right, I would just start over.

Consegna ottima. Il paradenti rispetta le aspettative. Per dargli la forma desiderata basta seguire scrupolosamente le istruzioni, oppure un tutorial su internet. Lo uso per giocare a basket, ed una volta modellato correttamente il paradenti non da fastidio, permette di parlare, respirare e bere senza troppi problemi restando sempre nella posizione corretta durante l'attività ed essendo facile da togliere e mettere. Per quanto riguarda la protezione mi da' l'impressione di essere sufficiente, essendo molto leggero e sottile non credo che possa garantire un'eccellente protezione contro colpi molto forti. Concludendo, per quanto ho avuto modo di vedere in qualche mese di utilizzo, lo ritengo un prodotto molto comodo ed adatto ad un uso amatoriale.

As per usual, I struggled to follow the instructions properly at first. 😂But the great thing about this mouthguard is that you can keep trying until you succeed! It was perfect for football. I used to take my mouthguard out all of the time between drills and game time because I couldn't talk very well or drink with it in. This one solves all of those problems and it's very comfortable. I have a small mouth and had no issues with it.

Super easy to fit, although I had to do it twice. I just didn't realize how quick you have to be before it begins to set. Not a big deal though, throw it back in the hot water and you can start from scratch again. I could not believe how low-profile the guard is. You can talk and breathe easily. It doesn't fall out, and when my mouth is closed you can hardly tell I'm even wearing it. I would say far more comfortable than custom mouthguards that cost hundreds of dollars I used to have. If you are questioning whether or not to buy it, just do it!
