I attached fabric to one side and cut out my desired item, however, the scissors became impossible to use. What kind of scissors do you recommend?

I cut it with the backing still on both sides then peel it off, it works a little better, still gunks up my scissors after a bit but I just use some Goo Gone on them and then they are fine.

Did anyone else have problems after washing product?

Nope, it frays very lightly at the edges, but we used as an appliqué, so it looked okay. Sticks like crazy.

Has anyone used this for putting patches on Nylon "Rip-Stop" material?

Haven't tried it, but for the price worth a shot. If it helps, scouting badges stick very well with this. I've used other non-sew adhesives that required ironing. The badges applied with that sort (also has directions for badge removal) would likely not work as well for patching material as this stuff would be. Good luck!

Looking for an option to put scout badges on a felt vest. Can this be used on felt? (Badge Magic's instructions say not to.)

I think it would be worth a try. You use pressure, such as a spoon, to press the adhesive to the badge and to the fabric. I used this to adhere girl scout badges to a vest. You may need to set the adhesive on a low heat in the dryer.
