Why did you pick this product vs others?: My single wheel units cracked my flooring. these don’t I’m so impressed even with my heavy body on there 212 pounds worth of human body. I can roll around with ease in my studio getting done my projects with no noise I mean no noise they spin on a dime And are virtually indestructible. In my opinion. I can roll over everything if you’re looking for an opinion my opinion is and my tip for the day by these casters. I looked the world over and I am not going anywhere else ever again. Like people complaining about a chemical smell must have had either a bad batch or just were sniffing them constantly 🤔😂 Whatever the reviews said about a smell (I checked) was gone for me in 5mins of opening. They fit perfectly on my lazyboy branded gaming chair and move so smooth in thick carpet once turned. People seemed to not like that they kinda get hesitant in one position before they move and that is due to the grip they provide and diameter. If you want wheels to change direction insantly fast you need smaller wheels. Any larger wheels will take more to move due to friction and leverage. What I really liked about them is they are dual "almost" sealed ball bearing on the "king pin" the stems. (A.k.a the thingy that goes into the chair thingy) not those garbage open ball bearing types that blow apart and get hair and carpet debris in them that companies are selling as "the best Caster ever" when they are literally proven crap 😳 They were a bit upper in the price bracket for just casters but certainly worth it. I didn't feel $13 a pop was that bad overall. We will see how long they last but they are very nice quality.

My home office has deeper carpet which is a challenge to roll on. The typical single "roller blade" wheel required a lot of force to move across my carpet and left deep ruts. The standard double plastic wheel moved better than the roller blade style wheels, but it still wasn't very good and the bottom of my chair's pneumatic piston dragged through the carpet. While not perfect, these wheels do roll through my carpet much better and their 3" size is enough to raise the bottom of my pneumatic piston out of the carpet by about 1/2". These wheels also don't leave much in the way of tire track ruts in my carpet. Overall they mostly accomplished what I hoped for at a reasonable price. As with any standard office chair wheel these wheels were easy to install. You just pull off the old wheels and push these ones on.

If you've never had rollerblade/skate wheels on your office chair then you don't know what your missing out on. This is my first ever set, (fit perfectly on an AKRacing gaming chair btw) and its a whole new experience. You dont even realize how bad those flat plastic wheels roll until you get some of these. The chair glides effortlessly now, maybe to effortlessly, will take getting use to! The look sturdy and well build, see no issue with longevity out of these. Easy to put in. Silent as well. They go over any sort of bump WAY better.
