Excellent Battery, quick delivery

It has solved the problem that I had with the old battery as far as I can tell. Also, it may be worth knowing that I fitted it into my 2015 Honda Jazz by disconnecting everything but the terminals to start with, then took of the terminals, quickly switched the batteries and re-connected the terminals and then restored the the lead and battery clamps. I did not have any of the problems with the engine management system that some suggest can happen, did not even lose the radio settings but did have to re-set the clock. Basically, highly satisfactory.

I bought this to replace the same model in my Honda CR-Z after just over 4 years of service. I noticed the voltage had dropped from 12.5V to 12.3V even after a full recharge. This battery is recommended for my car, despite the warning of "Not for auto stop/start cars", which should have the caveat "Hybrid cars that use the hybrid battery for auto-start are fine. Seemingly, the CR-Z hybrid system is a little low on recharge power, so the front 12V batteries tend to only last about 4 years. Best to be ready. Being a trusted brand, I am happy to buy Bosch. Last time I got a garage to buy in and fit the battery, which cost over double the cost of this new battery delivered next day to my door. Swapping batteries is quite straightforward. Take out the 2 transport plugs and give it a trickle-charge top-up. Follow the manufacturer`s instructions. I lightly greased the retaining bracket nuts and bolts, and the two battery terminals to avoid salt formation. Now I know which battery to get, I am happy to buy online and swap it in. Do it in summer, don`t get stranded in winter!

I have always considered Bosch products to be top quality however this battery didn't even last 5 months. Bought in March but it has died in July. Meant to have a 4 year warranty and Amazon directs the buyer to the Manufacturer for any issues. Tried speaking to Bosch but rudely got told to speak to Amazon as battery wasn't purchased directly from Bosch. Spoke to Amazon and as always received excellent customer service with the offer of a full refund and no need to return the faulty battery. I will now be buying a Varta battery instead. 5 Stars for Amazon but 0 Stars for Bosch.

Bosch S4018 – Parfait pour ma Toyota Auris ! Remplacement réussi de la batterie de service de ma Toyota Auris 2015 (j’avais déjà fait la même sur ma deuxième Auris de 2014). Honnêtement, je ne sais pas s’il fallait prendre une batterie “start & stop”, mais tout fonctionne parfaitement comme ça. La mise en place est simple, les cosses s’adaptent bien et la voiture démarre sans problème. Très satisfait de ce modèle Bosch, fiable et durable. Je recommande si vous cherchez un remplacement simple et efficace pour votre batterie de service ! Juste le bouchon de mise à l'air. 29 dicembre 2018 Ho acquistato questa batteria alla metà del prezzo che mi era stato proposto in un negozio. L'ho cambiata personalmente sulla mia Honda Insight e tutto è filato liscio liscio. Perfetta. Aggiornamento 01 settembre 2021 Racconto una curiosità. L'anno scorso (settembre 2020) tornato dalle ferie, ho trovato la batteria completamente a terra, la mia Honda non partiva più. Il caricabatterie si rifiutava di caricarla perché era troppo giù. Ho provato allora a caricarla un po' con un pannello fotovoltaico e, nonostante tutti mi dicessero che le batterie andate a terra siano poi da buttare, sono riuscito a "tirarla su" il tanto da riuscire a ricaricarla con il caricabatterie elettronico. Poi ha funzionato tutto l'anno, anche d'inverno. Quest'estate, prima di abbandonare l'auto a casa e di partire per le vacanze, per sicurezza l'ho caricata totalmente con il caricabatterie elettronico. Sono tornato dalle vacanze e l'ho trovata ancora carica al punto di far partire al primo colpo la macchina.
