LOVE THESE HEADS! Huge upgrade for my Pearl set!
I finally replaced the stock heads on my Pearl Roadshow drum set, and WOW, I didn't expect these to make such a difference. I was using a lot of dampening before, now I hardly need anything else, these heads sound amazing. The red color is great, I may have gotten blue, but the red pack was on sale. The snare head that came was a nice surprise, and also sounds great. I did a lot of research on heads before buying these, and I'm positive I made the right decision for me.

Good “bang” for your buck
I think my drum playing is good not great but when I do play the dogs and the woman always seemed to leave! These heads are definitely quieter than my Evan’s that I had. Which works out great and the red also stands out on my Ludwig kit as well

Good for intended purpose
I purchased for use in 14 x 24 rehersal room with 10 foot ceiling. They serve the intended purpose quite well (muted sound with no overtones). Exactly what I was looking for. As a personal preference, I wouldn't necessarily recommend for live performance with drum mics but again, personal preference.Have yet to be disappointed with Evans.

Pure Beauty!
Heads are beautiful! Red sparkle drums with red heads! Awesome. Sound is a little dampened due to oil between two heads. Heads are best used with triggers or mic'd.
