If i call or text the USA or italy from italy using this service is there additional cost?

It is misleading the description of the product says that you can call UK and European numbers. "12GB data to use in 71 destinations, 3000 voice mins and 3000 texts can ONLY be used to call UK numbers, AND European numbers WHILST you are in Europe". I just bought the card, should i return if i cannot make calls from Spain and Italy to the local numbers?
