Works excellent for me
I have tried many lotions and creams for my psoriasis and have only had mild success with them. They seem to work at first just to ease the itching and dry skin but even after applying everyday, it slowly returns back to what it was. With this gel I could tell right away that it seemed to be working. If there was an open sore from scratching it did burn a little, but nothing to bad. Within a few days the redness, soreness, and itching were gone. After a month of use, I apply once a day, and sometimes miss days, and the psoriasis seems like its gone. I am not sure if it would come back if I quit using it, but I don't mind just putting a dab on my spots just to make sure. I hope this works for you to, because I know I sure am glad to get relief from mine.

Coal Tar Oder, but Effective
Coal Tar Oder, but Effective -- this "gel" mostly vanishes and can sting a little when applied. The ointment doesn't vanish but seems to moisturized the skin better and it can become a little itchy. Using this with a gentle and effective soap or lotion cleanser helps too; as well as, applying a daily moisterizer with sun screen. The key to getting the best benefits is to continue to use even when the symptons appear to be disappearing. Most Psoriasis can be treated to improve, but it never really goes away completely. This is effective; be sure to wash you hands/fingers after applying and avoid your eyes and other sensitive skin areas.

Four Stars
Like how it dries almost immediately. Odor strong when first used, but goes away quickly.

Get the ointment instead. This gel does not cling to your skin and didn't work for me.
Does not work at all.

Severe Case of Psoriasis
I found that the cream didn't help as much as I would have liked. I received a prescription from my dermatologist, and now apply it at night and wear special white gloves. Psoriasis is all better.

Wanted this to work!
About 9 mos ago I tried Psoriasin gel to try to help get rid of the psoriasis I developed about a year ago. I'm willing to try just about anything, but I don't want to go on biologicals - I'm so afraid of them since they wipe out your immune system. I bought Psoriasin hoping it would work, but unfortunately, for me it didn't. I initially tried the vanishing gel. I'm used to using a strong prescription ointment, and hoped the gel wouldn't feel sticky. It wasn't too bad - a bit tacky, and had a not so pleasant smell - so using it wasn't too bad. I developed psoriasis as a teenager, and at that time had it really bad. I'm sure anxiety influences how badly one is affected because I developed it after a major trauma in my life that left me scared, anxious, and feeling every nerve in my body. At that time the major treatments for psoriasis was actual coal tar with an occlusive dressing, and photo therapy - both of which I did. Messy, time consuming, and even more anxiety producing! Yuk! As years went on, and I got better dealing with my anxiety, the psoriasis got so much better that I didn't use any treatment whatsoever. Then all of a sudden, last year it reappeared with a vengence after going on vacation and using a hot tub. There was nothing else I did differently, and no major traumas - so the only thing I could associate it with was the hot tub. Funny thing, the U of Michigan was doing a genetic study on psoriasis and I got involved a couple of months before it got bad again. I sent in the bloodwork and all the papers, as well as pictures, and then all of a sudden ... it hit me again. Bleh! It's been bad for about a year now. My doctor wants me to go on biologicals, and thankfully the dermatologist didn't because of the danger to my liver. So I was searching for something. One thing that worked really well for me several years ago when I had a flare was taking Cymbalta - it has a major anxiety component in it, and it worked SO well, but not this time. Drat! Our daughter also has psoriasis, and out of desparation, for her - since she's a sensitive teen, I found that sometimes homeopathis sulpher works. Within 2 weeks she was pretty much clear, but it didn't work for me. Nor did zinc, the regimin in a book on psoriasis started to work, and then didn't, and a special soap I bought also didn't work. So, I'm back to square 1, and once again, the search is on.

Psoriasin Gel
When my FIL was visiting us, he tried this medicine from walgreens and it worked great for him. He says his redness and itchiness has decreased by 60% since using this product. I buy this product regularly and send it overseas. Great product.

Stops the Itch
What I had turned out to be not psoriasis but ecxema. Before I had a chance to get to a dermatologist for a diagnosis, I tried everything available to alleviate the itch and Psoriasin worked. As far as I'm concerned, it's a better de-itcher than even Benadryl cream. I'm fine now and will keep this product handy in case some other itchy thing comes along.
