Returned it
Received a unit that was clearly used - had been fully installed at least once and was missing the instruction manual. (Inspected - really?) It didn't look 'bad' so proceed to install .... and then determined that this item was the 'bad' component in the system. If you are new to building a PC or working to meet a deadline, then this open-box probably isn't a good choice. The return process went smoothly and we don't regret trying it.

A great basis for an economical system upgrade, using existing DDR4 RAM.
In this chaotic PC-building climate, this motherboard was a great vehicle for an economical upgrade for my 8th-gen Intel system. I had 32GB (2x16) of DDR4-3200 RAM and an i7-8700K. Well, the i5-12600KF was available for $180, with 1.5 to 2.0 times the performance! Because this motherboard supported DDR4 RAM, I could migrate my memory, storage and other components and get a quite noticeable uplift in performance for about $310. I mean *everything* is zippier now. As well as the processing improvement, random storage throughput on my C: drive also effectively doubled due to my existing NVME SSD running on 4th-gen PCIe now, instead of 3rd-gen. I did have a kerfuffle migrating my old Win11 setup. The audio drivers were the snag. Things sounded awful until I was able to sort it out. Now everything sounds terrific. I'm very happy so far. I have the rev. 1.2 board, with Intel AX-211 Wi-Fi 6E, and it is excellent. The power LED support on this board is not to my liking, I must say. Soft blinking during sleep is not an option. The LED simply shuts off. Some will like that, I suppose. I would have liked the blinking option available in the UEFI. I did feel the need to upgrade my video as well, though I'm only a casual gamer. So I went from a GTX 1060 3GB to an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB for less than $400 (I kept the GTX 1060 for another system). Hard-core gamers might have to make a more substantial investment to upgrade. On the other hand, I don't suppose non-gamers would need to worry about any of that. As is nearly always the case in these reviews, I've only had this motherboard for a little while, so I cannot vouch for its durability. I've been building PCs for decades, though, and in my general experience, well over 90% of non-defective PC components last until it's time to upgrade them. Still, I've had a few failures. We'll see.

Awesome Motherboard!!
It's been a while since I purchased a new motherboard and this one was a pleasant surprise... Everything was in perfect condition, the RAM slots were tight, the CPU socket shield was in place usual things.... Once the PC was built and turned on, I had zero issues booting and loading windows on the computer, it initiated it's own BIOS updates and software centre and is amazing.... The only minor issue I had was it wouldn't find it's inbuild Wi-Fi when installing Windows so I used a Wi-Fo dongle I had laying around to get it going. Once all the software was installed and updated it picked up it's drivers and has worked perfectly since.
