As far as I'm concerned it's fabric.... What's to stop a man from carrying a bright pink and purple bag, or a woman from carrying a camo bag? If you like it and it works for your needs buy it! Life is too short to worry about everyone else's opinions of wether its Made for men or women.

The blue one at least DOES NOT fit a 17" or a 17.3" laptop, if the criteria is being able to zip it closed. And definitely not if you want to use a laptop case, which is strongly advisable since there is no separate padded compartment in the main body of the bag. Any accessories you may need will be banging up your laptop's finish.

Does the l size fit 15-inch macbook pro?

While I do not own a macbook pro, and it has been awhile since I held the bag. I believe that it will fit.

What color did you get? Does it look the same as the pic? (having a hard time choosing, want opinions :)

I got the light coffee color and it looks just like the picture. I love the bag and use it everyday with no issues. Best of luck, it is a tough choice.
