Anastasia Beverly Hills - MicroStroke Brush Fine Tip Eyebrow Detailing Pen

I have been using Benefit's Mighty Fine brow pencil for while now and I like it, but when I read that the Anastasia Microstroke was the "all star" of brow pencils, I decided to try it. I have to say this is the best one I have tried so far. It is easy to use, you don't have to be a makeup artist or tiktok star to get it right. It gives you very fine, natural looking hair strokes, and the best part to me, it stays on all day long. The color is also great, not like the orange and taupe tones you see in drug store options. I bought it in soft brown, which would probably work well with most brunette and blonde tones. Take a q-tip and some micellar water and clean your brows before applying- it doesn't go on well if your skincare and foundation is all over your eyebrows.

This microstroke eyebrow pen make so much difference on my brows from the precision brow pens that I already have. The application has a more natural look— practice creating fine lines or small strokes than shading. I like it that I bought a different color/shade to match my dyed hair (I bought a Taupe for a light brown hair. It would last the entire day. The first shade, Medium brown, is darker for my new hair color). It is pricey ($20+) compared to a regular eyebrow pen, but it is worth having one in your makeup tool.

I love the pen/felt-tip format and prefer it so much more than a traditional brow pencil. The strokes are much finer and can look more like actual individual brow hairs instead of just filling the area in with color. One thing I learned pretty quickly is that timing matters when you brush or blend it out. If you brush through the product immediately after applying, you can lose a lot of the definition of those fine strokes. What works best for me is doing one pass and brushing through it right away where I want more general fill, then going back in with a second pass in the areas where I want those individual hair-like strokes to stay visible. I let that second pass sit for a few minutes before brushing. If you don’t need much overall filling, you could skip the first pass completely. Once I figured out that technique, I loved the result.

1. The pen is very skinny. I just started using it and it may be dry already. 2. The pigment of the color I chose is lighter than the previous formula. I originally purchased the brow pen that did not come with a spoolie. 3. Because the color of this pen was too light, I had to find a third party company to find the original Anastasia Brow Pen. And purchase it again. I will not buy this new pen again. For the price I paid, I expected a better product. Please do not continue this pen, you won't make anywhere near the money you made on the previous version. I normally do not write reviews but it was enough to hopefully influence your decision before spending money on this product.

I love the ease of the pen. The colors available are great and once applied it stays on. I don’t like the outer paint on the tube as it started cracking and peeling so much so that I had to throw it out. I had little paint specks on my hands and throughout my makeup bag. I bought replacements and we will see how it goes. Disappointing though because I have never had this problem with their other products.

Works so well. Fills in my thin areas and looks natural. Dries quick and easy to apply. Such a great product, will buy again.

I have tried many micro brow pens and none have measured up to the hype. This pen is absolutely the best I have tried. It is easy to use, doesn’t put out blobs and gives a very natural look. So happy I finally found a pen that meets my expectations.

Pen was completely dried out,I am disappointed especially for the price i paid!

Appena provata ero molto soddisfatta dell'effetto, soprattutto per il tratto fine e preciso, peccato che già dal terzo utilizzo la punta si sia allargata, quindi addio al tratto fine, sono sicura di non aver sbagliato nulla nell'utilizzo. Non è assolutamente a lunga tenuta. Davvero scontenta, viste le recensioni e il prezzo, mi aspettavo tutt'altro.
